Let me preface this by saying the brunch was fabulous, the management was great, but wow did we have a rude server. On multiple occasions during service Johannes M. Ignored either 1 or 2 of our party. If you want a 5 star meal, ask for a different server, because this could have been a perfect way to start our day, instead I leave disheartened, while some of us leave bitter — and it’s not the mimosas talking. I would have left less than 15% gratuity if I would not have felt embarrassed by doing so.

Everything worked out badly. The setting is nice and the scenery is excellent but the whole-belly clams were anorexic, and in the end both meals disappointed. They were good about it so I have no ill will… sometimes it goes that way, but we won’t be back.

A little walk to the east on Commercial street but worth the stroll. We had heard about Fanizzi’s from a few people and decided to enjoy a walk in nice weather to check it out. We went early and did not have a reservation which worked out fine. You probably want to call ahead before making the walk to ensure a seat. The location is beautiful on the water in the quite section of town. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced — not to mention good portions! I had the fish and chips which was excellent and I couldn’t finish the huge portion. My wife had the salmon with rice and brussel sprouts which she also enjoyed. We started off with boneless wings which were possibly the best I’ve had to date. The menu is vast with everything from seafood to Italian to burgers. I’m looking forward to going back to try other menu items. We got fresh rolls with our meal which was a nice touch. On the way back, we hit some art gallery’s and had Scottcakes for desert. Looking forward to going back, a 5 start place a short walk away!

Great view! Excellent food for the menu prices. Prompt polite service. My mussels were very gritty, but I suppose sometimes it’s hit or miss. Great place to eat.

Place was recommended by a long time local, and it was just what I was looking for. Cozy restaurant with a great view of the bay. Food was exceptional. The portion size of my scallop scampi was a generous helping, and the flavor couldn’t have been any better. I opted for desert also and I’m so glad I did. The serving and management staff did a great job making sure I had all I needed without having to even think about request anything. Will definitely be back if ever in the area again!

Really great NO Mayo coleslaw For Person with food allergies they whipped up mussels and fresh veggies that were just delicious. Stumbled upon this place while driving through Provincetown… it was one of the only places open on the cold day we visited… and I was definitely happy it was!!! The restaurant is located right on the water, or should I say right above the water. Once we were seated our server quickly took our orders. We went for lunch and I already knew what I was going to order before I even sat down; clam chowder and a lobster roll! After a short wait, our food came out and it was delicious!!! The clam chowder was spectacular and the lobster was on point. Not much else to say… the food was wonderful, the service was great, the view was amazing, and the prices are very reasonable for a Cape Cod/Provincetown restaurant! I’ll be back!!!

We stumbled upon this place because we came to PTown not realizing that everything is pretty much closed for the winter. We stopped at a little coffee shop to get something warm to drink and asked where there was a good place to eat that was open, and the gal behind the corner recommended this place. It’s right on the water so we got to watch the tide roll out while we were eating. We started with the spinach and artichoke rangoons which were incredible. They come with this sweet chili soy sauce and it was a great combo. I had a cup of chowder and a salad and both were very satisfying. My friend had the fried cod melt and he said it was amazing. Our server was very sweet and very attentive to our needs. I would love to come back and try this place again!

The view from the dining room was nice overlooking the water. My Hubbie had the clam chowder which he said was very good. I had the cranberry turkey wrap which was okay. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Not sure if I would go back however.

A continuing«sure thing» for a great meal with a view that’s unbeatable. We’ve been back many times for both lunches and dinner, and are always very happy with both the meals and the friendly service. This is a sweet spot in Provincetown!

Love this place in P-town. We were craving a crab cake sandwich and this was the only place that we could find that had it on the menu and it did not disappoint. The cole slaw that came with it was quite unique as it was not done in the usual white dressing but more of a vinaigrette. We also ordered a lobster roll and tuna melt to share and all were superb. Besides excellent food, we came during lunch and had a corner table overlooking the water. You almost feel like you’re on a ship because the restaurant sits right on top of the water. After lunch, we went to the deck area to take a few pics and enjoy the rising tide. The location of the restaurant is a bit outside of the main part of P-town but definitely worth it for the food and view!

Went here with a friend to grab a bite to eat during the busy labor day weekend. The place was pretty packed, but we called ahead for a reservation so we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. To start off the meal, we decided to get an order of the nachos. I don’t know what pushed us towards the nachos – probably was the alcohol – but it was the best decision of the night. The nachos came piled high and had a generous portion of meat and beans on them. In addition, it was served with three ramekins – one with guacamole, one with salsa, and one with sour cream. I don’t know what we were expecting from Fanizzi’s nachos but these sure hit the spot. On the other hand, my salmon was not as appetizing. It was alright, but seemed to be a bit overcooked and burnt. The Brussels sprouts that it came with were lackluster as well. Overall, my meal was not very memorable, but those nachos were. The service was also very friendly and accommodating and the food came out pretty quickly. Not sure if my fish was a fluke, but will have to try this place out again next time I’m in Ptown.

Our last night in P-town for our honeymoon and we picked a real gem… From beginning to end, our dinner experience was phenomenal! Our waiter, Johannes, was incredible. Great service! My wife ordered the Salmon with horseradish goat cheese and I the fish and chips. Both very very yummy! We had a great table overlooking the ocean and what a view! Make reservations for this place, ask for a ocean view table and enjoy the ride! Oh, don’t forget to have a bottle or two of wine :-)

Pros: the restaurant has a fantastic view. We got the corner table and were surrounded by the ocean. It was beautiful and relaxing. Rolls were tasty. Cons: the food was okay, but expensive. I was not impressed by any of the food I had, but it wasn’t terrible either. We were a party of 5 and all tried different things, but felt the same. The only thing that was rated as «good» was my boyfriend’s fried scallops, but one of them was undercooked(pink inside). I’m a vegetarian, so I had the eggplant parmesan. The eggplant was very well cooked and breaded, but the sauce was meh and the cheese tasted like shredded kraft cheeses from a bag. Overall, I would not recommend, but it isn’t the worst place either.

I stopped in for lunch today and decided on a Fanizzi Burger. The burger was Angus beef, cooked medium rare. The tomato slice was ripe, the romaine leaf was crisp, the English muffin was toasted perfectly. Delicious sandwich. Fries were better than average, the coleslaw was not creamy but tangy and the pickle spear was yummy. Their dessert menu was lovely, I settled on vanilla bean ice cream scoops(3), with whipped cream, walnut caramel sauce and hot fudge. So good, if I weren’t watching my figure, I’d have had a second bowl. Delicious coffee, too. Server never introduced himself by name, but he was nice enough, no negatives there. All in all a perfect lunch, and I hope to return for dinner.

There were not many options for dining at 9pm in Cape Cod during the week and we just barely made the ordering cutoff before the kitchen closed. The seating area sits right above the water and the waves splash up on the windows which is both neat and maybe a bit unsettling. We got the grilled sea scallops and the fisherman’s fried platter that had a mix of breaded scallops, shrimp, and cod(fitting fish being it was Cape Cod). We started with the crab cakes which arrived fast but we’re overcooked. The grilled scallops were okay, but the breaded ones were better. The platter had about 4 jumbo shrimp, one fillet of cod, and half a dozen scallops and it was an adequate amount. All in all it was a decent meal, however it was a little overpriced for what you got, both quality and quantity, however, the kids meal portion was generous. See photos.

Fanizzi’s is always on our list of dinner restaurants when coming to the Cape each year. I’ve never been disappointed! The menu has an impressive amount of appetizer options and the salads are a generous size(I can never decide between the Caesar and Cranberry — both are so good!) so you could make a meal right there. But don’t, or you’ll miss out. Main entrees are hearty portions and the specials are always something to look forward to. I’m a sucker for the Grilled Salmon with brussels and wild rice. Best brussel sprouts, ever. The Mustard Nut Crusted Cod and Broiled Sea Scallops are also favorites. Cocktails are great and they mix it up with drink specials which are usually tempting to try. The service is always splendid but be sure to make a reservation. There is a bar to wait at but not a ton of room. Leave a little extra time to find parking because the lot only accommodates about 8 vehicles.

One of the best little fun places to get a good quality meal at a reasonable price in town. Entering the restaurant, you are always greeted with a smile and escorted to your table within minutes. The wait staff are always very polite and reminisce with you about any old topic. The dining room is literally ONTHEWATER. It hosts one of the best views of Cape Cod all throughout the year. In the summer you get to witness the sunset over the bay filled with speed boats and kayakers, in the winter you enjoy the view of icebergs and snow flurries reflecting off the starlight. The drinks are phenomenal! The tropopolitan. a clever spin on the classic cosmopolitan adds a deliciously fruity twist! The holy cosmo offers a lighter choice with a bit more bite… can you tell that I’m a fan of cosmos? hehe. There is an early bird special for those people that want to arrive before 6pm. Great deal! Sundays have an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet for $ 14.99 — BESTDEALINTOWN! Ya know what else… They have parking! An unheard of trait for restaurants in Provincetown! Truly worth the trip to the East end of town.

I can’t believe I haven’t already reviewed this place. Actually it’s probably a good thing because this place has grown on me. I’ve been here a number of times, most recently last night for dinner. On a Saturday night in March it was pretty busy. They do take reservations so that helps, especially on-season. It’s a little off the beaten path pretty far down Commercial St. in a generally residential area. They have a small parking lot but if you aren’t lucky enough to get a spot there on-street parking in the area can be a challenge. The place is not fancy at all(especially by P-town standards) but does have some really nice water-views if you get a good table. You would think a place called Fanizzi would be Italian but not so fast. There’s a number of things on the menu that aren’t Italian(e.g. Meatloaf). The wine list is basic nothing fancy but you’ll probably find something you like on there somewhere. To start we had a tough time choosing between several apps but finally settled on the Mediterranean place. Great choice I highly recommended it. I had the chicken parm and it was pretty good and she had the meatloaf and said it was good as well. Service was efficient even though it was busy. Portions were good sized. Prices are fair for what you get, especially for P-town. I have also been here for brunch and had favorable experiences. It’s a buffet all you can eat for like $ 15. I don’t like French toast but I must say I enjoyed it here. Make a reservation. The first couple times I came here I thought it was ok but in light of the other places available in P-town I thought you could do better. And you absolutely can but you don’t always want to go to a fancy place but just someplace decent, nice and not too expensive. This is that place. As long as that’s what you’re expecting I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
