I frequently visited this Starbucks during an extended business trip to Providence and I was mostly pleased with my experiences. I’m especially appreciative of the service from the cute emo girl with the black hair. She always gives me 2 agave honeys with my oatmeal which is very nice. I’d recommend this Starbucks to any in the DownCity area.

You would think being at the Baltimore hotel in Providence that this Starbucks would be Nice… wrong. Services is very slow the servicers behind the counter seem to be very unhappy with their jobs… back counter is unorganized with trash filled up to the rim Rugs are disgustingly filthy looks like never been Vacum… You have to ask for a number to use the bathroom which is good but you think that the bathrooms would be clean and then not…

It’s a very average Starbucks. The iced coffee is more burnt than usual and the floors were dirty the three times I went this week. The staff varies from very polite to slightly rude. They don’t take your name when you order a drink, so it’s a little confusing when picking up your coffee.

Service is inconsistent, depending on the staff that day, you will get a friendly smiley face or straight off rudeness. As long as my drinks come out good, i don’t bother about take-out service that much. I repeatedly get Greentea Frappuccino, Iced Caramel Macchiato, or one of their iced teas depending on the mood. I would strongly stay away from their Americano though. I tried it once, and it was bitter and tasted burnt almost. I know Starbucks uses darker roast beans, which is why it works well with espresso based frapps, but their Americano, hot or iced, is a complete waste of money. Just get espresso based frapps and you will be quite satisfied. The drinks taste always the same, which is good.

This Starbucks ’ service is consistently slow and seems a bit disorganized when compared to other stores. You’ve definitely got to be prepared to wait, even if there isn’t much of a line. That said, I’ve never really had a complaint about the end product.

I love this Starbucks! I used to go to the JWU location because I could always park but had an awful experience and haven’t been back. The staff at the Biltmore are always really friendly and make my coffee perfect every time(I have an obnoxious coffee order). Also the valet will often let you leave your car running in front if you are just grabbing a coffee just don’t forget to tip them!

Still the best Starbucks to be «that guy» but no longer«hands down, the best». More like… top 10. Still good though.

This is a awesome Starbucks and it is downtown at 1 Financial so all the reviews about the Biltmore Starbucks especially giving bad feed back you are reviewing the wrong location! Wonderful staff and located in the middle of it all and very close to JWU and RISD

I am normally a fan of Starbucks. This location did not offer me a receipt when I made a purchase with a credit card. Christian was surprised I asked for a receipt. Meanwhile you need a code from the receipt to use the bathroom. Bathroom was fairly clean but was out of toilet covers and the toilet paper was running low.

I have always always loved this Starbucks. What’s special about it is that it’s connected to an old historic hotel the Biltmore. I have been here plenty of times and it’s always fun coming on the weekend when my buddy Anton is working. But I’m a fan of hot drinks mostly and the white chocolate mocha is my weakness. And as a cold drink the caramel frapee is always a fan favorite. But yes this Starbucks rocks great kind service and I know a few people that work here so go on the weekends best service by Anton.

I love Starbucks, although I am slowly becoming a New Harvest girl but this location is absolutely terrible. The staff here is extremely dense, rude, and quick to blame the clients for the staffs wrong doings. I did a coffee run for a coworker and I — who got the same thing. I did separate transactions though, she paid with cash and I with a card, she also specifically asked for the receipt. I asked for the receipt for the cash transaction after it was made and told to hold on as she made the order… ok no biggie. After the order was made, I reminded her that I needed the cash purchase receipt for my coworker, she rolled her eyes and handed me the credit sales receipt. I said politely(as I’m in the food service industry as well) miss, I need the cash receipt, not the credit. It’s for a coworker who’s never been here and isn’t familiar with prices. She wants to know her change and specifically asked for it, can I please have the correct one. She told me five different reasons why I should take the credit sales receipt with THEBIGGESTATTITUDEEVER! They were NOT busy at all.btw. Granted, I know it was an annoying task but I asked for that specific transaction sense the beginning. You’d think the fact that I put two dollars in the tip cup would make her a little more enthusiastic about helping me. As I picked up my coffee, and toasted bagel with cream cheese, I noticed the cups weren’t marked for a shot of espresso. I asked the girl who charged me for it, so she clearly heard my order if she added it and she replied no. She remade my coffees, and I was finally on my way. I got to work and went to enjoy my bagel before my shift started to only find out it was NOT toasted and there was NO cream cheese. I called and asked for the manager, let them know my experience and was told that I probably distracted the girl by asking for the receipt to the cash transaction instead of the simple apology I craved. I haven’t been back sense. If I want Starbucks, I go to the Thayer Street location which is busier, the staff is always pleasant, and have never had my order messed up.

overpriced coffee served by idiots. Don’t know who is dumber, the people who spend $ 4 on a coffee or the people who sell it.

Yes, it’s «just» a Starbucks, but after staying at the Biltmore, I wanted coffee before hitting the road back to Boston. Sure, the drink was fine, but the staff left a lot more to be desired. The girl working the cash register had quite an attitude when I asked for a «non-fat Skinny Cinnamon Dolce latte» and received the, «Yeah, I know it’s non-fat. It’s a skinny drink! and it was apparent that she did not want to be there. If it wasn’t for the fact that there was a ton of people in the room, I really wanted to tell her where she could take her attitude and stick it. With unemployment at an all-time high in Rhode Island, I think Starbucks could find a better replacement for her.

Stopped by for coffee after staying at the Biltmore. According to Wikipedia, the«hotel currently contains the largest Starbucks in New England,» but it seemed relatively small to me! Other than that, it was your typical Starbucks experience. No complaints.

This has been my favorite Starbucks for awhile, but I had an experience recently that made me want to tell the WORLD about it by writing a review! I like this location because it has lots of different seating options… Tables of different sizes, armchairs in front of the fire, cushy window seats with pillows and outlets to plug in. Friendly staff; music at just the right volume; it doesn’t ever seem to get too, too busy. I spent A LOT of time here when I lived in Providence, so naturally when I went back to visit recently I had to stop in. Fresh back from India, I decided to try a chai latte. They made it up fresh and hot, and out into the sunny morning I went, happy and content with the drink warming my fingers through the cup… but then. I took one drink of the latte and barely restrained myself from spitting it out on the sidewalk. I hadn’t realized the drink would be sweetened. I thought it was made with tea, not sugar syrup that tastes like tea. I went back in and asked them if there was anything they could do to make me something similar but less sweet; they said they could brew regular teabags in steamed milk but they weren’t sure how that would turn out. So I asked if I could have my standby drink, a triple venti latte, instead. I was fully prepared to pay, but they comped it even though it was in no way their fault that I didn’t like what I had ordered. Thanks, guys! When I come back to Providence, I will most definitely be back!

I love Starbucks. And this Starbucks is on the way to my only nighttime class(7 – 9:30). I usually stop in on Tuesdays and for the most part there’s a different person behind the counter every time(with the exception of one boy who’s name I can never remember). They all seem to make drinks the exact same way: too sweet. Even when I ask for unsweetened it seems like they still put syrup in. The space is super cozy though, with lots of comfortable, puffy chairs and such.

A great Starbucks location conveniently located right next to Kennedy Plaza. The staff is great and very friendly. There is free WiFi here which is always a plus.
