Waxing the City

Awesome place. After all the experiences I had earlier, I guess I found the right place. Michelle Campos is the best. These guys are true professionals. I strongly recommend them.

My first experience at waxing the city was great! It was my first waxing ever! The owner is very friendly and helpful and is a delight to talk with. The room is clean and the music is very relaxing. Nicole did a great job waxing and was very helpful in helping me understand the process and what I needed to do long term after the waxing. A great and friendly place!

Amazing! I am a recent convert from another waxing «chain» and this place is amazing! Michelle is extremely helpful and friendly. The first time in, I got my eyebrows done and it is painless. Came back for my second appt today and had my eyebrows waxed and tinted. If you have not had your brows tinted its a MUST! I am obsessed with how they look, so full and structured, its amazing. Both Michelle and the owner and extremely helpful, informative and friendly. Do make an appointment. I have only gone to Michelle but she books up very quickly, weeks ahead of time. That being said, I don’t plan on going anywhere else for my waxes from here on out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Loved the waxing experience here. The salon uses hard wax instead of strips that lower end salons use. The esthetician really takes her time and makes you feel relaxed. The result is beautiful. Would highly recommend it! Can’t wait to try their other waxing services!

Gotta love a great wax especially when the studio is clean, modern and warm! I love the small boutique feel of Market Fair and this studio fits snuggly in the mix. It’s best to make an appointment and they have really great introductory new client specials (with the promo coupon).
I love that the waxing tables are fully covered in a soft blue disposable covers. The Esthetician walks you back to your studio. Next you both briefly discuss what service you like. Then instead of a mini striptease, they kindly exit the room while leaving you to remove any garments (based on service — ex bikini wax etc), they also provide you a personal cleaning wipe, and they provide a mini disposable drape for your comfort. It’s a very comfy experience. Sonya did a really great job and we chit chatted a bit during the process. I’m always nervous so I prefer holding little conversations during Brazilian waxes.
What’s cool about this studio is they also do Men’s Brazilian waxing amongst other services. While we were talking she advised in a few months they will have Estheticians there who do Full Men’s Brazilian waxing. That’s really cool. In the front they also have post wax beauty products. I’m not sure if there are samples but the one product that caught my eye was the sugar body scrub. I didn’t ask if there are waxing packages so I’m not sure if that’s an option but if you go in there may be some information available about them. After you are finished waxing there is a neighboring gelato, burger and Mexican grill so treat yourself to a spa day and treat! I like this place and I will be back again to try another service. It seems like a cool place to maybe have a mini girl’s partial beauty spa day.

I went for a couple of services this week and my experience was nothing less than wonderful. Lauren took care of me and did a wonderful job. In addition Lauren and the owner were exceptionally kind. The place is super clean and nice inside (like a higher end boutique for waxing). I highly recommend this waxing salon and will be back myself!

This was my first waxing experience ever and it was amazing! The girl was did my wax was great at telling me exactly what she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. The salon is in a great location in MarketFair Mall! If you are looking to start waxing or for a new place to go, I highly recommend Waxing The City!

I love this place! Easy to make an appointment, very careful leg waxing (not a single hair left!), plus super friendly staff! So excited that I found them and looking forward to trying them out for eyebrow tinting and waxing.
