I’m usually unmoved about pizza, as it is often disappointing.
We were on our way to the Princeton Art Museum and unexpectedly were overcome with hunger. We pulled into a strip mall on 206 in Montgomery and tried Alfonso’s.
They had a wonderful slice selection. It was lunch time and a group of people patiently waited for the heated slices. My wife ordered an eggplant slice and I tried the arugula with fresh tomato. We sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the lunch
I’m not one for superlatives, but these 2 slices were possibly the best in our lives… my wife’s sentiment as well. The crust was perfect… crispy, golden… perfect! The toppings were generous. Excellent
We will definitely stop by again on future treks to Princeton.

Awesome selection of «by the slice» options, their tuna is THE BEST, sandwiches are way over filled, the staff is super nice, and with the recent rennos, the place is looking mighty pretty for a ‘strip mall joint’. Also, when you order a salad you get rolls made out of the leftover pizza dough. Those are worth going for alone. One time they messed up and I got three instead of two. It was like Christmas in May.

Great pizza, great atmosphere, great people! The food is just as good as the service! Delicious specials and great pizza all for the right price. Fast service and the people behind the counter are wonderful; when you go as much as I do they get to know you and what you want. It’s just a great place to go with everyone, there will be something everyone likes and it’s taste won’t disappoint! There are some great seats outside of you want to sit in the sun and enjoy your meal!

I love this place. great for take out or eat in. Very impressed by the antipasto Italiano just superb and fresh doesn’t get any better. I also ordered gluten free personal pizza –unbelievable! Great service too .they really put great effort and it shows! Five stars easy.

Nice, well run neighborhood pizzeria. Unfortunately no delivery though. We ordered hot wings which were meaty, juicy and spicy. We also ordered the grilled shrimp salad which was very good with roasted peppers, olives, mozzarella and other nice components. We went with the margarita pizza, a bacon/​pineapple, and pepperoni pizzas. All were really good. The pizza is a traditional NY style pizza with not too thin or thick of a crust. The sauce is tasty and not too acidy or sweet. Altogether, the meal was really good and we are sure to try again!

Good consistent food. Great pizza. Best marinara in town. Can get a little noisy and busy, especially on Friday nights. Service is usually ok. Specials can be a bit pricey. BYOB. Overall a reliable family friendly pizzeria.

In the area breifly when I stumbbled acrossed this place. I got 2 slices of pizza one with mushrooms and peppers the other plan… From the looks of this place I bet there dinners are great as well… Cuz if there pizza was aplus in my book well then there dinners just have to be spot on… Will visit again if I’m in the area

Excellent pasta and chicken parm subs. Outstanding canolis too. Very reasonably priced. Service was a little slow at times, but the place was hopping even though it looks like a traditional Italian pizza joint.

Their pastas, pizzas, and cheesesteaks are my fave.
Totally a convert — used to go to nearby Rudolfo’s (next to Montgomery Cinemas) but you get way more here, and I enjoy the pizza much more too.
No delivery, but then again not much around here does, so that’s my only «minus» star for this lovely eatery.

A madman roams here. He seems very committed… but to what I have no idea. When he makes pizza selection suggestions I listen.
And the food is good. The variety of pizza by the slice is wide and they are all very good (except for the cheesesteak pizza — that was not good). The salads are huge, the soup is great and the bread is solid.
I dont like the chicken marsala cause they dont pound the breast out and I think this is a tactical error. But they cook pasta correctly and the marsala sauce is very nice. The staff is great, the vibe is always pleasant and they make fresh espresso if you ask (with the lemon rind).
A final note on the pizza, I cant really place what appeals to me about it. I think the construction is how it should be, never one element (be it sauce, cheese, topping or crust) dominating the others. I’ll keep going.

1 of the 2 great pizza places in the Route 206 Princeton-​Montgomery area (the other being Rodolfo’s in Skillman). Consistently excellent pizza… my favorite is their Margherita; however, I like eating in (rather than take out) so that I can sample a couple different slices. Also, they have the BEST wings in the area! Perfectly crispy and served to your desired level of spiciness. This is one of the few places that will actually give you hot, if that’s what you ask for. The owners are also very friendly and personable. If they delivered to my neighborhood, I’d give them a perfect 5 stars. For delivery, I have to resort to New World Pizza in Skillman which can sometimes be good, but they’re too inconsistent.
