Not bad! This hotel does it’s job and has some perks. First of all, this is a Super 8, not a Ritz Carlton so don’t set your expectations too high. TV’s are boxes and not updated to flat screens and our room smelled a bit like it had water damage, but we had plenty of space, a clean bathroom, a continental breakfast, and pets are allowed. Our room was non smoking, which is on the 2nd floor and is strictly enforced. We had enough space for our dogs crate, plus some space to get dressed. Bathroom was very clean, but the water is very hard so if you have curly hair, you may want to skip the shampoo. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and very, very nice. Chris checked us in and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and just very nice to us. A lot of times front desk people have a bit of attitude, but he was totally cool. I would recommend this place for just a night if you are going to a wedding or event and can’t afford the $ 200-$ 300/night the fancier places in town charge. Also the continental breakfast was well stocked with 2 cereals, yogurt, bread for toast, Belgium waffles, OJ, apple juice, fruit cups and coffee.

I know it’s a cheap place, but wow, so gross. The bed was the noisiest bed ever — there was a rubber sheet(for bed wetters, I guess), and the box spring still had the plastic wrap on it. So every move results in a loud squeaking sound, making it really hard to get any sleep. There was no TV remote, and one of the bedside tables was moved all the way against the far wall, and was too heavy for me to move back to where it was supposed to be. All the furniture was off center, making me wonder what nasty stains on the carpet were being concealed. Not recommended.

We just got back from a trip to this hotel for a funeral we had to go to in MD. We stayed one night and was extremely dissatisfied. Upon arriving at the hotel I was a little disappointed because it just looked old and grungy but quickly reminded myself it was one of the cheapest hotels in the area and shouldn’t expect much, but I never expected what was to come. We get into the hotel room and it seems okay but upon further inspection TWO lights would not work, the hair dryer on the wall was disgusting and obviously is not a part of their cleaning process(thank goodness I brought my own) and the comforter had burn marks all in it. And not a huge deal but the TV was outdated. Upon checking out there was cockroach on the wall. Only one we had seen but just thinking about the fact they could have crawled on us or in our stuff gives me the creeps. But, the worst has yet to come… We drove 8 hours from MA to MD, upon arriving we had to take showers and get out to a wake. We get back and go to sleep. Upon waking up we realize we need new towels. So after we go down to the boring, bland breakfast(toast, make your own waffles, cereal, warm milk left on the counter not even placed in ice, and oatmeal) we decide to ask for towels on way up. The first floor lady said we had to get them from the second floor person, this was annoying but I decided fine no big deal, maybe they count them. So we go upstairs and I go to ask THAT guy for towels. When I did he hesitated… He just kept saying«check out 11», «check out 11»(because half the people in that place couldn’t even speak English.) And I just kept saying«Yes I need 3 towels» which he would reply«check out 11». I said«Yes 11! It is only 8am! We need to take showers», which he replied«you should take showers at night» very rudely I said«Excuse ME! We need to take showers now give me towels» He handed me 1!!! I said«NO3! 2MORE» He handed me 1 more and I said«OKNOW1MORE!» He took his time and handed me 1 more. I proceeded to tell the manager when he came in and he apologized and said they are«low on towels and towels are being misused» in which I replied that«it was not our fault they were low on towels and they should NOT take it out on customers and we were there for a funeral and didn’t need to be treated rudely by their staff.» He said he talked to that person and he was sure that, that person did not say that or mean that as he doesn’t even speak English. Well EXCUSEME! But he spoke well enough English, broken but VERY understandable enough for me to KNOW what he said! End result, we got 10% off the bill, which pissed me off even more cause getting any type of refund NEVER even occurred to me. I thought maybe they’d give us an extra night or something stupid like that, where we wouldn’t even use it. I just wanted the situation dealt with! After getting the 10% off I was outraged at thinking about it and thinking how he just gave me a whole 7 dollars for our ridiculous treatment, unclean room. Thinking about it more if they do any type of refunds we should have been refunded completely! JERKS. DON’T STAYHERE! By the way when I told the other people downstairs what happened before the manager came in, they asked who and I said Mr. Patel, she said they are all Patels here, when I said he had a yellow shirt on, they knew who I meant but. if they are all Patels, I bet the manager was his son or something! And I bet any decent reviews are written by them!
