Texas Roadhouse

My wife and sister-​in-​law love to eat Texas roadhouse after a long day attending youth wrestling tournaments! It has become tradition.

The dinner rolls are delicious and the sweet butter it comes with is soooo good. The Ribeye Steak was juicy and good.

We used to go to the roadhouse restaurant, but after reading all these complaints, it terrible, they need to get their act together, get good people in there or train the ones they have. We want good service, no waiting, we want to be checked on frequently. Good tasting food. Healthy foods too. No one should leave hungry, nice proportions. We hate to see the waiters gathered and talking and laughing, they should be taking care of tables, cleaning tables. Talking to the customers. Come on folks get this restaurant back.

I have eaten at the Texas Roadhouse several times since I wrote my previous review. Every single time I eat there I am very happy I went. Incredible menu, incredible cuts of meat, incredible service. I saw the review that said Lone Star was so much better. Not the one in Scottsdale that is now closed down that I went to twice and never went back again. I have grown up in the west my whole life and I know western steakhouses and Texas Roadhouse in Prescott is an extremely good chain restaurant with a local feel sitting on the hilltop overlooking the south part of town. Try it you will like it!

LMBO. Lone Star read this review and called me twice from there Corporate office. They went out of their way to make sure i got hooked me up with a invite to their restaurant in Corona California where we live. AMAZING SERVICE! Funny food server, manager came to meet and greet us and apologize for Texas roadhouse behavior (1 star competitor). Everything was awesome awesome awesome. Thank you Lone Star for taking out the bad taste of Texas roadhouse and putting in a nice juicy steak taste back into my mouth. We will be back soon and again and again!!!

My husband and I enjoyed this place so much that we came back the next week! I had the ribs the first time and a NY steak the second, my husband had steaks both times! Food was excellent and the teas were great.

terrible service. dont waste your time or money. save some cows lives while your at it. all lives matter tho, except the ones you eat.

Usually have very positive experiences here. However we were here a few weeks ago and something happened that bothered us greatly. A member of our group ordered a burger and when it came back very undercooked for how he ordered it (he took 2 bites before he realized) the manager sent it back to the kitchen for a new one that was cooked properly. When it returned we realized the cook had put the first burger (with bites taken out of it!) back on the grill to continue cooking it! Ew, ew, ew!!! Our waitress was very nice and agreed that was gross and took that meal off the bill. Had it been a $ 30 steak we were sending back, of course we wouldn’t expect them to whip up a new one. But when it was a $ 5 burger that was completely under cooked, they should have made a brand new one rather than putting one that was partially eaten back on the grill. I’m sure that most of the cooks wouldn’t do that, we probably just got a lazy cook that night.

One of our favorite places to eat. Food is always amazing, service is great and getting better every time.

Everyone is nice but why in the heck every time you place you have to wait for your salad and/​or soup. Then you are on the 3^rd bite into your salad then low and behold here comes your main dish. Let’s get this corrected. Give your customers time to eat the salads and/​or soup before you deliver the main course. Then OMG I bite into the mushrooms and they are cold. What gives. But on a high note my waitress was outstanding and took care of what I needed.

So let me start off by saying I was really angry when they informed me that my party of seven would not be seated until the full party was present. Mind you five of us were ready to go and would’ve ordered drinks and an appetizer while we waited. Whatever, that really irked me! So they sat us in the back and with a chair at the end of the booth table, w“so far not digging the host and seating arrangements. Our server came, Sarah. Wow saving grace for your establishment. She was on top of things and her counterpart a male (tattoo’ guy) was also awesome fresh hot coffee, clearing plates etc.
Food was good, however a little too much salt, not that big of a deal. The ambience, food and service overall made it a great night with my family.

The review would be better but for the following. They are putting different rules together when you have coupons. You get coupons on your anniversary. You can’t use them if you are getting a steak special on wild wednesday, even if you order a regular entrée, in addition. We purchased over $ 300 in gift certificates and received the so called $ 5 reward certificates. No one tells you up front about all the exclusions!!! Haven’t been able to use them yet. Frustrating! Rules and exclusions that only benefit the business do not make far happy patrons!

Should have gone with McDonalds instead.
I have been to other locations in Texas and this was by far my worst experience. I went during a peak hour and it was just me. I was first seated in the most awkward table I have ever seen. The table was oddly placed in the middle of two large booths and I was about 1.5 ft away from the tables on either side of me. I was so close I could hear the conversations next to me like I was actually involved in them. I promptly moved to a bar seat. The two bartenders were fantastic. I ordered the New York Strip – Medium Rare for $ 18.99. With that price I expected perfection. I received my steak cooked medium-​well done. I did not want to be «that guy» but almost spending 20 dollars on a steak it better be cooked right especially if I am eating at a «steakhouse». In about 5 min I was delivered my newly cooked steak and it was cooked better but honestly it tasted like a $ 8 dollar steak at Walmart.
In addition, I experienced something just gross. What I saw earns this review 1 star. I was seated next to the drink station at the bar. I watched a server slightly bump a bottle of beer on her tray. Beer began to fizz out from the top and I watched this server put her entire palm on top of the beer then she actually had the audacity to serve that beer. Look people, maybe it’s just me but if I saw a stranger put their entire bare palm on the mouth of my beer I would be pissed. Just really?..
I would just recommend you take your time and business elsewhere.

Had the pleasure to visit this yesterday. I was ten minutes to early for the opening, but they greeted me welcome, and I got seated. My waitress britanie was super professional. She asked me if I’ve eaten with them before. When I said no, she started explaining everything! Good job! The Texas Roadhouse got half full with people in a matter of ten minutes, but that did no affect my order. Around 15 min in, I had everything on my table. The Sirloin was cooked to perfection, and so was everything else. Fantastic place!

The steak has a much better flavor than outback and the atmosphere is much better too. The last 2 times we encountered a couple problems, but were corrected to our satisfaction. The waitress and waiters are so busy I don’t think they can keep up at times. If you normally like your steak rare then order it medium rare. My husband loves his steak nearly still moo-​ing, but the rare here is still cold. The sides they offer are great too.

Very dissatisfied with the management here. I ordered the 12oz Ribey medium rare. It came out medium. Sent back and received a rare steak. Sent back and it came back cooked correctly but had no flavor. When I contemplated getting another I was told ‘I can’t keep cooking steaks for you, you can have something else instead’. I’m sorry but if you cooked it correctly the first or second time I wouldn’t have to ask for another $ 16.99 steak! Michelle our waitress was great! So needless to say I had a salad, 1 bun, and part of an awesome blossom for dinner :(

Why I haven’t written a review for this place before now is beyond me… My wife and I eat here fairly often, and we often meet friends here for dinner as well. Our favorite day to eat here is Wild West Wednesday, where you can get a good steak for around $ 10. Throw in an appetizer and a cold beer for me and Jamaican Cowboy for my wife an we are happy campers.
We came here again last night in celebration of two friends’ birthdays. My wife and I both agree our steaks were seasoned and grilled to perfection — hard to do with smaller steaks — we like ours RARE. This was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had at any family steak restaurant.
This Roadhouse has consistently served up great food and provided great service since they opened and the prices are so affordable. That’s why we keep coming here. Will they compare favorably to those fine dining establishments with $ 75 steaks? Nope. Would I ever eat a $ 75 steak? Nope.
I love this place. I like being a regular here and being recognized by several of the staff whenever we do come in. It’s unpretentious, comfortable, and I always leave with a bigger smile than the one I came in with.

Ehhh… I can live with the slow service and cheeses décor.
But what is up with all the PDA? Can’t some of these couples just keep their hands to themselves? –2 stars for the things I cannot u see.

We really enjoy the the food and the prices are just right, service is great, the free peanuts are nice, the rolls are extremely good and the Steak is fantastic the only problem is the music is way to loud.

Always a great meal. The early dine deal for $ 8.99 is awesome — tasty steak, baked potato and salad — can’t beat it when taking the entire family out for a casual meal. Steaks are always good and cooked to order. I typically don’t like «chains» like this, but these guys do it right — every time. Thumbs up and a yee haw for this place.
