Planning to build a ramp for my porch, laid out all the materials I needed then made the mistake of ordering online and having them deliver. Of course the order wasn’t complete, they swore it was, the driver assured me they checked the order ‘multiple’ times. Not sure how they can overlook the 6 foot long 2×2’s that were part of the order but NOT delivered. Not the only problem I have had at this store, I have ordered online and gone in to pick up my orders only to find them incomplete or with the incorrect merchandise. It is something specific to this store and this management chain. Have never had this problem at other Lowes Stores.

It seems to be the practice of this store to repackage used, returned merchandise and sell it as new stock. When I challenged the service manager about a purchase I had to return — that was clearly used — he acknowledged my claim, but was evasive when I asked how used merchandise can magically appear on the shelf and be(re)sold as new.

Well, I have to admit I usually don’t like to shop at big box stores, but being a visitor to the area I needed a part to fix a lamp. So off we went to Lowe’s and greeted by one worker who asked us what we needed. He asked another person and then escorted us to where the parts were placed. The other person also came over to make sure we were able to find the part. So this is a big box store but the people there were very helpful. Either that or there were afraid we were going to rip them off. HA!
