Had a great late lunch here starting off with the pretzels. The pretzels were really good, different and crispy. Cheese and mustard sauce added to the taste. Reuben sandwich was delicious along with the cole slaw. Didn’t try the beer since we were driving back to Phoenix. Will go again!

This is a great little place to get good beer and food… been many times and will continue to frequent only issue I have is what they call their growler is really a boston… not worth the price. Paid almost thirty bucks for a boston and the next day that pricey beer tasted horrible.

If this place was in San Francisco you wouldn’t be able to get in the door. After three trips for lunch and dinners we haven’t been disappointed. They have a great staff an outstanding chef, and good selection of their own beers. Just wish they had a place in Phoenix.

I ate there last night for the first time while visiting my mom in PV and we loved it! Cannot wait to return and try more of their craft beers and food! Had the Rusty Chain and it was incredible. Paired it with the imperial reuben and loved it! One of the best hidden gems up there!

Wow! I visited there after many recommendations from friends. Ordered the chicken skewers for lunch. Even though it was listed as an appetizer it was more than enough for me. Three huge chicken skewers appeared with two great sauces. The waiter was very informed regarding their beer. I had a small flight of one beer and a very small taste of another. The restaurant is very accommodating, the chef is fantastic and I only wish it was located closer to my House.

My fettuccine alfredo was good. My friend said her reuben sandwich was great. And my other friend said her chicken skewer was good. We waited a long time for the guy to come back and pick up the payment folders with our debit cards in them. So, we all 3 had to root around in our wallets for enough cash to pay so we could leave without waiting for him to return. I had to borrow money, as I didn’t have enough cash. He kept waiting on other people. This is what I call being understaffed. I would probably go back and try them one more time. It’s not like the food was bad.

Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. The inside is set up a little weird, but the patio area was really nice. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the Babaloo: their take on a Cuban sandwich. Both were delicious. I definitely recommend it!

We came through Prescott Valley on a work errand and stopped here mainly because it has a dog-friendly patio. We had burgers and a pretzel. Pretzel: lighter than expected, in a melt-in-your-mouth good way, with a bit of crust exterior. The beer mustard & cheese: yum. Tip: mix them together. Burgers: perfect iteration of a bar burger. Best bacon on a burger in a long time. It was actually crispy. The meat was flavorful and the onions actually tasted caramelized. Sides: I really missed having fries, however the mac & cheese with the beer cheese was awesome. We only had soda to drink, but there’s a fill station and most people were drinking their beer with lunch. We’ll be back if we ever go back to Prescott Valley.

Maybe because I’m some sort of city-slicker waltzing in from another state, it might not be my place to judge, but this place does not deserve a 4.5 star rating, I can tell you that much. So what’s wrong with this place then? Well for starters, this place calls itself a brewery, but there are only 9 beers and ciders available, and when I went, 11% of my options were not in stock. And even though there was a kind and adorably sweet waitress taking care of us, she was the only person working the front. As her tiny legs scuttled around the room trying to take care of everyone, you could tell she was overwhelmed and found it difficult to take care of every table in the establishment in a timely manner. On the plus side, the prices were quite reasonable when comparing to my experiences in California. The food was decent, but nothing mind blowing, and something similar could be said of the beers. Finally, the brewery closes at 8 p.m., so you better come during happy hour, or you’ll find yourself all by your lonesome, without any beer from the valley to show for it. TL;DR– Price: Reasonable to Good Food: Decently Tasty Beer Selection: minimal Service: nice people, but understaffed and really slow. **Also closes pretty early Recommendations for the business: offer more beers, get more staff to serve, and keep the joint open later. After you do this, the Lonesome Valley Brewery might find itself some more company, and an even higher rating.

Good food, a friendly staff, a great beer selection, and a causal atmosphere make Lonesome Valley a great choice for a quick dinner or a longer evening of drinks and/or food. I love that they have board games to play and seem to be welcoming to anyone who comes in the door. They are proud of their startup story, and I love that they have the timeline of how they opened the brewery posted on the wall. Great place!

A friend recommended a stop here if we were every driving through so one weekend we decided to try it. It was a great decision and an excellent recommendation. I had a really nice strong beer and my wife and I enjoyed a couple of Pulled Pork sandwiches w/Slaw and desert. It was a great meal in a cozy spot. Our waitress was very helpful with our choices. We couldn’t have been happier and the price was very reasonable. To be honest the Pizzas that came out for another table looked even better than our Pulled Pork, which we really liked. Try it.

So not much pops up on Unilocal when searching in Prescott Valley… but fortunately Lonesome Valley Brewing is at the top! While visiting family in little old PV, I desperately needed a quick getaway to regain my sanity, and found Lonesome Valley on Unilocal.I drove over and was a bit hesitant to go in. It’s right off the main highway 69 in a strip mall of sorts, and looked very locals only. Long story short, I’m SO glad I sat down at the bar because I had a wonderful time drinking house-made brews and chatting it up with the friendliest people. The beer is incredibly cheap given how small the brew batches are. For only $ 4 during happy hour you can get a pint of house brewed craft beer served by some of the friendliest bartenders I’ve ever met. I highly recommend the IPA. The menu consisted of bar bites, pizza and other meat-centric dishes(I mostly eat vegetarian). They had a few vegetarian items(like the giant pretzel for $ 3) but I filled up on beer instead. Awesome place. Great people. Great beer. Definitely check it out if you find yourself in Prescott Valley! Tip: Check in on Unilocal for a discount on a purchase of $ 25 or more

The food here is great. My entire family loves it and I really love the Nachos. The beer is good, not great, but those are my taste buds talking. I am also not impressed with the size of their growlers. Most places I have visited have 64 oz growlers. Here they are 32 oz at best. The issue I have with this establishment is the service. Specifically, the waitresses serving the food. This review is based on 5 visits, not just one. Unfortunately the service has always been, well crappy. Forgotten items — unresponsive, and the list goes on. If the service was better, I would be a regular.

Have you ever been won over by a place because of the enthusiasm of the staff? We visited Lonesome Valley Brewing for lunch on a Wednesday and Bree was our server, bartender, and bus. We were one of 5 – 6 parties in the place over the course of our lunch and she consistently greeted everyone, encouraged us to play games(Connect Four for the win!), was super knowledgable, and enthusiastic about the place and their beers. Her enthusiasm was contagious! We had the Salad(a special) which my wife said was very good and the chicken skewers(from the appetizer menu). I enjoyed a cask beer which was very good and the house IPA which I also enjoyed. I tried their rye-wheat beer with a quick taste, but three beers for lunch seemed a little excessive. We missed a Stone tap take over by a day, but I was glad to try the house beers. The place is not fancy, but it is also not at all expensive. Comfort food, homegrown beer,(brewing supplies next door!) and great service. I wish I lived closer to this place!
