Wendy’s

Every time I eat at this, my local Wendy’s, I’m reminded of why I rarely go there. The staff being young is expected, however, being untrained and scrambling at the drive-​thru is not. I went there last night provoked by a good, buy one, get one coupon. I ordered the two single cheeseburgers, a new Bacon n Blue Brioche burger (over $ 6), some fries and frosties. When I got to the window, a girl took my credit card. Then a boy started handing me one frosty at a time. When I asked for a drink holder, he confessed they were out of them. Next a third frustrated employee started randomly handing me parts of my order and by now, I’m asking for my card back. I also had to ask for my receipt. When all was said and done, I felt like I’d just been spit out of a turnstile! I pulled in to a parking spot to check my order and receipt. Over $ 17 seemed like a lot, especially since I had that coupon. Everything seemed to be there, so I headed home, knowing I was going to have to figure out a clever way to get in the house on the snow and ice with two bags and three drinks! Well, once in, the bags were a mess, everything shoved in, fries everywhere and the biggest disappointment was that the Bacon n Blue burger HAD NO BACON! This Wendy’s has consistently been inconsistent! Now… the one in front of Tuttle Crossing Mall… always good. I’ll drive the extra miles next time.

This establishment is your typical Wendy’s accept the accessibility of the location isn’t the best. Staff seems to be disinterested.

I wanted a burger and wasn’t feeling the arches joint at the time and I needed something fast and cheap so in I went. It’s a Wendy’s so you know what you are going to get and there is nothing special about it.
The inside is really nice and I love that they have those Coke machines with the myriad varieties of Coke products. It’s a bit odd to get to as you either have to go in past Kroger’s parking lot or make a quick turn off of Powell Rd.

Typical Wendy’s, nothing special besides they close early. So if you’re looking for food late night you’re going to have to drive down to 270.

Gotta love those chains, dependable menu’s and consistent food. I enjoy a good Wendy’s burger, but as been more focused on the healthier side of eating I enjoy their salads, especially the apple pecan chicken salad. Good portion and tastey. This location is pretty standard as any other franchise location.
Suggestion if going through the drive-​thru, check your order and your change. One night I was shorted $ 10 change. It was corrected and resolved immediately after I called him on it. Probably good advice for any drive-​thru. (No, they were not busy.)
