Just checked out. This hotel is a low 2 star hotel, this does not live up to Country Inn & Suites reputation. It is obvious this was a low end hotel which was re-branded. You can’t just take a motel six and put the Hilton sign out front and make it all a Hilton should be. The parking lot is falling apart, the hotel is dirty for the expectations. Very worn out, very disappointed. Over priced for the quality you get at this place. You can smell smoke in the hallway with the smoking rooms. The 2nd floor hall seems like a dungeon, humid and stuffy. Booked on the Country Inn & suites site directly and marked the option to pay extra for an upgraded room, and when I checked in there was no looking into the upgrade for me, just«nothing is available». The 1st night of our stay a service company was staying there and their trucks and trailers were all over the place having trailers taking up multiple spots. There was no where for me to park. The counter person did contact them to move their equipment however her demeanor was not very pleasant. This should be more like a super 8 or motel 6, won’t stay here again.

We rolled into the greater Knoxville, TN around 9pm. The kids were tired, and we needed a room. Country Inn & Suites always provides us with a clean room and safe stay. They did just that again. This time, however, the place felt a little older and somewhat worn down. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a solid stay and I’d do it again, but for my money, I felt like I should have gotten a little more. The pool was very small and not very practical. The hot breakfast in the morning was okay. They had sausage and biscuits & gravy. Not exactly my kind of «travel food», but it’d do. I would have enjoyed some eggs with that, even the frozen pre-packaged kind. They had enough variety to keep everyone content. This was a fine pit stop on our adventure. I do have to say the beds sucked. That would have to drop it to a 2.5 stars if I could. But, otherwise solid.

We checked in late after several hours on the road and were greeted warmly by the staff. The room was nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Everything looked brand new. They served free breakfast in the morning and it included several hot items such as eggs, sausage, and potatoes in addition to the usual make-your-own waffles. I would give them five stars but the bed was so hard that I woke up stiff and sore in the morning from sleeping on it. If you don’t mind an extra firm mattress then I would recommend staying here because everything else is great.

Checked in to this conveniently located CI& S after driving about 11 hours. Tired and sleepy we found our room nicely decorated with comfy beds and plenty of wonderful pillows. Had had a GREAT night’s sleep with good room temp, quiet hallways, and no traffic noise. And the next morning, while the breakfast room was a little cramped(because we were sharing it with a bunch of big guys who play professional hockey), the breakfast offerings were well stocked and just fine. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Think converted economic lodge. Small breakfast area. Do not expect the country inn experience.
