Might be the most poorly organized event restaurant ever. Memorial kickoff. I stood in line for 5 minutes for food and was told I needed to stand in another line to pay and then get in another line for a chicken sandwich. All to loud late 90s rap played so you can’t be heard. I won’t be back.

Congratulations Bogey, worst live sound event ever. Might want to consider hiring a sound tech for the next event.

I was at the Bogey tonight for the Tee Off celebration for the Memorial. As we approached, I noticed they only had carnivorous options. I asked a lady if there were any veggie options, and she and a gentleman who also works there made sure my Dad and I got veggie burgers, specially made for us, even though we weren’t paying. She also brought us an appetizer. Honestly, it was above and beyond. I appreciate the accommodations, and the burger was terrific! It’s that kind of customer service that keeps people coming back :-)

We hadn’t been here for quite awhile and decided to stop in. Everything was excellent! For appetizers, we took advantage of the ½ price happy hour to try the pretzel bites and reuben rolls; both were wonderful. For entrees, we had the spicy chicken penne and the urbanator steak burger. Again, both were the best. Good food, good atmosphere, highly recommended.

Stopped in from the Columbus Zoo in the Summer. Me, my girlfriend, and her old college roommate were there. The Bogey original burger is really good, I enjoyed it. The Sirloin that was ordered was ok, they didn’t really season it at all. Just a Sirloin thrown on the grill and served. The sides were pretty amazing too. Would stop in again next summer perhaps.

We decided to stop here on our way to zoo since I had heard of it as a golf tournament hot spot. Our server was good but it took forever for food to come out(they were not busy at the time so we were puzzled). I give 3 stars because it took forever for food to come and the pretzel app was just really pathetic. Pretzel rolls tasted microwaved and the queso of was a tiny black cup. Not worth the money. Fried pickles were great. Chicken fingers and fries were also great as were the wings.

Love the energy and Friday night fun here! The menu is only«okay» for vegan/vegetarians, but they made a terrific hummus and veggie wrap tonight. I’ll order that again!

Although their burgers are awesome we decided to have the pizza. It was a thin crust very tasty pizza! Only down side is there is no smoking on the patio. No cigar. :(

Carry out? No one would answer the phone for 20 minutes, so I finally drove to the restaurant. Good news, they have a special parking places for Carry out customers. Restaurant was almost empty, no hostess in sight. So I went to the bar to place my order. Was told it would be 20 minutes. Asked why no one answered the phone so I could have ordered ahead, was told they are swamped,(restaurant almost empty!). I would have walked out except this order was for a sick friend. Shawnee Hills desperately needs a good restaurant!

Food was pretty good. Sliders were tasty and the chicken Marsala was great and service was really good. We sat outside on the patio and the live music was a nice touch.

During the last 30 years this place has been up, down, closed. Hoping it was on the up, we went there Monday night for the $ 7 burgers. I had the bbq burger not realizing it was $ 11. No difference except the sauce. It was small, bland, and the bun was crushed and tasteless They forgot to turn in a friend’s order and her burger came out over half hour later. It was comped. Still not a good deal NExt time I want better tasting, hot food with good service at a cheaper price, I will walk to Wendy’s!

You get what you pay for. Food is fairly average but good value, try and visit on specials which they do daily. Staff were pleasant but the manager, who seemed fairly sweet to begin with during our visit, was actually very cold and rude. Unhelpful when asking for recommendations and patronizing because I’m not local. Best to give a miss unless you’re a regular I guess. What a shame.

One hour for food on a Sunday afternoon(place nearly empty). Understaffed, and unimpressive food. I predict it will be under NEW ownership by the time I try again.

Love the Bogey! Muirfield landmark! Volleyball leagues, food, drinks, great patio and great banquet room. Menu is better than most bars and also have good live music

Hamburgers are good but everything else is okay. We had the pizza, Mac& cheese, urbanator burger, rueben rolls, nachos, fried pickles… and shared it all.

The Bogey has undergone in a refurbishment and re-imagining in the last few years and it’s become one of my favorite places. The food is very good. I’m a fan of the pear salad and the shrimp tacos. The dining room is spacious and the service is good.

Hooked on brussel sprouts! Who knew The Bogey Bar & Grill(as it now likes to be called) would win me over with a veggie side dish… but they have done it. Three times a week I order the brussel sprouts«side» along with a bowl of homeade chili. The side dish is brussel sprouts served steaming hot with a wonderfully tasty mix of sauteed onions and, of all things, cranberries. A warm drizzle of olive oil ties it all together. The homeade chili fits the bill, too. It’s not soupy,… not pasty. As the baby bear would say, «It’s just right». So go on! Hit up the Bogey Bar & Grille and have some great food. And the house salad is tip-top too!

Good Place to go have a beer. There were two sides to the bar. One side was wheer a band was playing(very loud for a small area — but a good band. The other side was where the bar was. At the bar they were having a Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. The place had a good vibe.

So I have been here four times since they remodeled/got a new menu/chef(three times for dinner, once for lunch). We loved house salad. The creamy dressing, sliced grapes and fennel are great. It is served with goat cheese and I love goat cheese, but with the creamy dressing I think I would prefer maybe shards of parm to have more texture to it. I also appreciate the use of a nice garden mix; I hate iceberg lettuce. The first time I got the salmon dish it was wonderful! This last time the salmon appeared to be seared perfectly from the looks of it, but the top and bottom were a little dry(at least the middle wasn’t). The sweet potatoes are creamy and are a nice contrast to the salmon. I love the grape sauce that is drizzled on the salmon. It’s so good that I wouldn’t mind more. And what could be bad about frizzled beets? Beets in any form make it in my book. We ordered the scallops once. When they came out they were cold, but our server did a great job taking care of the problem. If you are looking for a hardy dish, I would probably suggest ordering something else, because it is only a hand full of scallops. When we went for lunch, we ordered the fish and chips. The fish was great, but the fries aren’t my favorite. Our server said that people come there because they love their fries. If you like the fries at Burger King with the weird sugar coating, then order fries at the Bogey. Usually the service is pretty good. This past time we sat waiting awhile before our server saw us, but once he did, we have really good service.
