My family and I have been going for years. Great haircut at reasonable prices. Anna is great.

After reading the reviews, and in search of a new barber; and I was in the area, I stopped in Seven Locks. I was greeted warmly by Bill the owner, and a very nice gal, Sue, did my cut. Needless to say, she took the time to listen to what I wanted, and I left with just the cut I wanted. I will definitely be back!

I went here recently for a haircut. Within a few days I developed a very painful infection called scalp folliculitis that my doctor and nurse told me was very likely the result of having my hair cut with an unsanitized razor. In fairness, I had been here two or three times earlier with no problems. But I’ll obviously never return. You have been warned.

Great barber shop. Fast, friendly, good cuts. Everyone seems to come here. Easy to make/get appointments. I have been using Anna for 15+ years and once she wasn’t there so I used another stylist(barber) and it was all good. I don’t even consider going elsewhere!

This is a great place for a haircut! Friendly, clean, warm, service oriented, responsive and excellent barbers. If Bill sold sandwiches and tea and coffee, I’d hang out here. Thanks, Bill and staff!

My family and I have been going to Seven Locks Barber Shop for years. I generally get my hair cut by Anna, though all of the cutters seemed skilled. But the best part about the shop is Bill. Even though he’s been running the place for generations, he greets you every time as if you were their very first customer.

Four generations from my family have had their hair cut at Seven Lock’s Barbershop. My dad started going to the owner Bill many years ago. I started taking both of my sons when they were five. The haircuts are fabulous and the prices are reasonable. I have been going to Laura for 3 years. She is wonderful and always makes you feel like a friend. She cuts my granddaughter’s hair as well. It is no easy feat to cut a 4 year olds hair and do a good job. The owner, Bill always greets you with a big smile and a warm welcome. This is more than a barbershop, it is a part of the community. If you are willing to wait, they will always fit you in. My son, Rich still goes in for his haircut and he is a grown man. This is a wonderful place to go for a haircut and become part of their family.

7 Locks Barber Shop has been in business, serving my hometown, since 1978. This is, and has always been, the place I get my hair cut since the first time I needed a trim as a kid. I have always received great service and never felt the need to go anywhere else. Bill and his team of barbers are the best!

I’ve been using this barber shop for many years. I have experienced great service. I use Sandy who gives a fantastic cut for $ 15. Just as good if not better than a $ 40 cut anywhere else. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have been coming here for 10 years and have always had great service and a good cut. The owner Bill is a warm friendly man who welcomes everyone with a warm smile. The stylists are friendly and efficient. Mornings are certainly better than the afternoon.

I work nearby so I come here frequently for haircuts. It’s run by a Greek guy named Bill but he seems to hire only asian stylists(with the token white women). reasonable price at 15 $ for a cut. I wasn’t very pleased at first with the first few hair stylists until I found Sue/Su(Sp?) She pays attention to detail and the little things. Every step of her process is double checked with the client to ensure that it is within their envisioned mindset of –what they want-. The greatest thing about her is that she is willing to work with you in recreating a style from just a picture! I’ve had her adjust my style from a simple crew cut to a faux hawk!(there’s a reason why she’s one of the most popular hair stylists and is always booked) TLDR: Get sue to cut your hair for you. Reasonable price. Very fast service.

i’m a 62 year old male. My barber/stylist at Hair Cuttery took a 6 week trip & I couldn’t wait any longer. So, when making a quick trip to Walgreen’s, the I got the epiphany of trying out Seven Locks Barber Shop. Even before going in the owner saw me eyeballing the place & waved me in. Although lots of people were waiting & I asked how long the wait would be, he said«zero» and motioned to a woman in the far corner. I was concerned because she appeared to be the only person not busy but she proceeded to give me a quick, professional scissor cut that looked great. Only negative — stylist had a case of breath! But it was worth the trip & I will definitely be going back.

I have been coming here for a couple of years along with my wife and daughter. We have Laura cut our hair. She is very pleasant and this place is always busy. She is alway consistently good. I have since moved to Miami and I still miss going up there. When you call she will even stay after closing to take care of you.

Why am I having such a hard time finding a decent barber in the Southern Rockville area? Ever since my usual barber, Nick’s, apparently went out of business a number of months ago, I’ve been bouncing around looking for a decent cut. When I walked into Seven Locks, things looked promising. The place was busy, with a wide variety of male, female, and children customers. A lady in the corner eagerly beckoned me over. I described my cut, which is not complex: about 1.5 on the sides and 2.5 on top. After cutting the sides, the stylist said something about using scissors instead of clippers on top. Okay, I figured, she must be some kind of old-school scissors master. I let her snip away, thinking, wow this is how they used to do it 100 years ago. Then she finished and showed me the mirror. It was way too tall. It looked more like 3.5 and was no where as sharp or short as with other cuts I’ve had. She agreed to take off more. I looked again. There were noticeable uneven bumps(«horns»)on both sides of my head. She went to work again, and I checked again. My whole head was generally uneven. It looked like a three year’s attempt at drawing a circle; it was one of the sloppiest cuts I’ve ever gotten in my life. But I was sick of waiting, and she was starting to look a little exasperated. To top it off, she didn’t cover me with the apron very well, so there was hair everywhere on my shorts, legs, and shoes. Plus, they don’t accept credit cards here. I guess my quest for a barber continues.

This is the«go to place» for a great hair cut in Potomac. The owner Bill, has had this business in the same location since it opened in 1978 and they do great work for a good price. Walk in the door, and he greets you with his great Greek hospitality. The service is quick and you’re in and out. I just get a simple hair cut, but I have seen many ladies getting color/perms as well. They tend to get very busy in the afternoon, so morning is the best time to go in my opinion. They do not take credit/debit cards. just cash/check.
