Charged me twice which just became a 10 minute confusion for them. Food was fine but the large salad was not large enough to share and did not come with any dressing.

The food is good. Service is fine. Buts it’s not amazing… I mostly go there cause it’s convenient to my home. Some of the flavors aren’t the best and once time I felt my soup wasn’t very fresh either

Pastrami is very good. I only buy a small portion sliced and steamed to go now and then. Otherwise not impressed with other menu items. Good, only good and high priced for what you get.

Classic deli from my youth. The place nails it on everything: Perfect Pastrami, hot dogs, matzoh ball soup, wonderful service, and that classic atmosphere. We stocked up with extra on our way out of town, it’s that good.

I am surprised by only 3 stars. I’ve been here a number of times, including this morning, and have always been pleased. In fact, it’s one of the best Jewish-deli’s I’ve been to in a while, and definitely in the DMV. Clean, large, and bright, it’s a great place to eat. Good service. The menu is on target and the portions are large. I can’t wait to go back.

Awesome food and great customer service. Did the steak and cheese and it was super good, nothing bad to say about this place. It definitely beats the competition around here. Best deli in the area.

We love this little neighborhood deli. We stop in from time to time to get our deli fix — the staff is nice, the food is really good and fresh. One Sunday night we were coming home from the airport and starving. It was getting late and so we called ahead to ask if they were open as we couldn’t get there before 9. They said they were closed but could have carry out ready for us. We had our car service stop and wait while we ran in and picked up our corned beef on rye, sour pickles, and cream sodas. It was so nice of them to have our order for us after closing — and it was delicious!

Get the Reuben sandwich! The corned beef is piled on thick and the homemade potato chips are delicious. The homemade chips are thicker than normal ones but not so thick that they take on a french fry consistency(or sogginess). Pickle spears are served immediately(which amused my g/f, who had never been to a Jewish deli before). The price is fair for the Cabin John Center /Potomac area.

On this horrific day, I think everyone in my office was looking for comfort food. Attmans didn’t disappoint. Our order ranged from good old fashion chicken noodle soup, hot pastrami on rye to Reuben sandwiches. Although my bread got a little mushy from the grease of the pastrami, it still didn’t disappoint flavor wise. The person who prepared it put the right amount of meat, cheese and mustard. The flavor was so rich. My co-worker is not a huge fan of the soup, and declared it better than his mothers. Will definitely be our go to place when we need comfort food.

OK, now I understand the mixed reviews: it is inconsistent, hit or miss for sure. Went again same time, had same sandwich, different waitress, and the pastrami was super fatty and greasy, no pickle, service fair. Also had a bowl of matzoh ball soup and a knish, both were very good, but didn’t make up for the sandwich being so disappointing. Will try again.

I did takeout on 11−23−15. My Mom’s brisket and coleslaw was great and so was my vanilla milkshake. Everyone there is so nice, polite and easy to talk to. To Alan and Debbie(The owner and his wife), Gail, Mo the girl, Mo the guy, Vicki, Leslie, Andreas, The cooks and any other employee that I missed. I just wanted to say thank you for always giving myself and family great food and service. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

The hostess told us to sit wherever, so we sat in the back but I thought there would be a waiter in the section because there were two unbussed tables. We waited for a while, I found a waiter and he apologized. Another waitress took our order, she didn’t offer to refill my friend’s soda, she only checked on us once and she seemed annoyed. I had to get up and get a breakfast menu. The service sucked, the food was Ok. Meh.

Although the Original Attmans in Baltimore is a Classic Jewish deli. This location has a lot to be desired. I had a group event this past Wednesday at the height of dinner time. I walked in and the place was dead, not a soul eating there. Not a good sign. Place is very clean with deli cases, counters, etc. We had a group of seven folks and pickles on the table were well done, sliced and mushy(old). Service was fine, and the deli meats on my sandwich were good, but the rye bread didn’t have any taste to it. It was like white bread with caraway seeds. They served fried home made potato chips with the sandwich(which are really frozen and sold by a distributor) and most of the chips weren’t fully cooked. Would have been nice to have a small soufflé cup of slaw on the side(not offered). Side of Russian dressing was good. The place has scars to repair and first off they need to get a better deli rye bread!

Best corned beef and brisket I’ve ever tried! With the exception of the salads, the food here has been excellent. I’ve visited about a dozen times. Unfortunately, the service can be spotty depending upon which server you get.

When you’re craving a corned beef sandwich and homemade soup like your Jewish grandmother would have made, you can find it here! Even though it’s in the middle of a strip mall, it’s the real deal, full Jewish deli with barrels of pickles, deli meats and fresh breads. Oh, their soups are wonderful too, very homemade with fresh vegetables and flavorful broth. I like the Kreplach soup — filled with homemade meat-filled dumplings. Now, that’s something you can’t find everywhere! I’ve been for breakfast and lunch and everything I’ve tasted is outstanding. Definitely a great find and rather unique! The atmosphere and food is great. I will be back.

Love this place! It’s always pretty quiet but staff is super warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a chill lunch or relaxed deli dinner at a sit-down place. Their pickles are so good too! Order a brisket sandwich, the brisket is some of the tastiest I’ve had! Always prepared quickly and carefully. And the home style potato wedges are good too.

I visited(5÷10÷15) ordered eggs sunny side up, sausage & fruit w/toasted onion bagel/cream cheese. Delicious! Eggs cooked-just til set. Great for soft yokes, bagel fresh, chewy. Only downside bagel was warm not hot when arrived at table. Cream cheese smear on bagel fresh/creamy. Fruit sweet. Service prompt.

I love love me some Lox & bagels but this place was nothing amazing. They didn’t add enough lox or onions or capers etc. in my bagel. Don’t think I’ll be back, sorry. Bethesda bagels is where it’s at!!! Fully loaded with big tomatoes, onions, capers, lox with cream cheese, now that is superb.

After a grueling hike, my cousin and I decided that we wanted a sandwich. What better place to try, right? Located in an unassuming strip mall in Potomac, can’t say that is is that easy to spot from the road, or rather once you enter the parking lot. The deli looks much smaller than it’s size. There is a small dining area up front and a larger space in the back. It appears that orders are taken from a counter in the front, you pay and are seated. The selection of sandwiches is plentiful, everything that you would expect. I didn’t get the pastrami on rye, I don’t know I was in fowl mood. Get it, fowl… he he he! Anywho, I got the turkey sandwich with bacon, on a kaiser roll. The amount of meat on this sandwich was sinful! The sandwich tasted great, definitely made for sharing. I’m not in that area too often, but I would sure check out the original in Baltimore.

Rating for breakfast only. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and service for breakfast. I like how this place is setup. Self service up front and restaurant in the back– both use the same menu. I got the corned beef hash with two over medium eggs. Eggs were cooked to order and the corned beef hash was great. My kids loved the pancakes and scrambled eggs. Will come back here for lunch to try their sandwiches.
