What a disappointment. Cucumbers on the salad bar were slimy, the floor in front of the bar was so sticky my shoes stuck to the floor. The bathroom walls were gross with greasy dust, the carpet is filthy and the blinds on the window in our booth were also covered with greasy dust. The food was not a bit memorable. Never again

Never been to a Ruby Tuesdays. Went with Mom at 11am today. Ordered the (Chicken BLT A Parmesan-crusted chicken breast, with Swiss cheese and apple-wood smoked bacon. Topped with your choice of lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle chips) I guess you have to request the lettuce and tomato on a BLT. Didn’t know that. Ended up with a nice size chicken breast, lots of Swiss and bacon but nothing else. No L and no T. No pickle chips. I didn’t realize this until I got home because I had the salad bar while I was there and brought the sandwich home. I thought the L and T were under the Chicken breast. Just finished eating it and it was not there. How can it be a BLT without an automatic inclusion of the L and T? I gave 2 stars because the food came out super quick and my waiter was very nice. I wont go back though.

I had one of the worst dining experience ever at this place this eve. From the moment we walked in until we left. From being completely ignored by woman at the host stand to the salad bar having no plates because they were being washed. It was only 6pm and the place was 1⁄3 full… out of salad plates? I finally asked, after standing there for 10 minutes, for one of the square plates that were stacked in multiple piles all over the line. The thought didnt occur to the staff to give us a different plate? Everyone I spoke to WAS pleasant… but I had to speak to them to ask for things throughout our dinner to see that. Our unattentive waitress apparently didnt want to know if we were enjoying the meal. She dropped the food and never asked, never came by till I got her attention for parm cheese which she dropped on the table without a word then 15 minutes later U had to ask for soda as my glass sat there empty for ages. I even had to chase her down for the bread she offered us 20 minutes before. The food was beyond bland… shrimp parm pasta, cold fries, and flatbread pizza which had flavor but the crust was soft and gross. I stopped by the podium on the way out to tell the woman, who didnt appear to have a job, and the young man hosting to tell them I was appalled. I have been in the restaurant biz myself for about 30 yrs and this was beyond ridiculously bad. I will never, ever step foot in this place again. We have all been thinkjng about all the other things we would have rather done with the money we wasted there.

Food was taking a little long and the manager came out and gave us a dessert on the house. Best part was that she did that without us even complaining about it! Great customer service!

Server was polite and that’s about the only good thing about the visit today. $ 10 for a salad bar and a gross soup. $ 3 for 6 small onion rings. We ordered a burger-medium– and it came out well done. Small portions of shrimp for $ 16. The booth we sat at was ripped up.

For a relatively new restaurant, this place is just dirty. The table was sticky, and so were the outside of the glasses. They paid a lot if attention to keeping the salad bar clean but, everything else was disappointing. Avocado in my wife’s salad was not ripe.

We had a wonderful server. I came in with the kids and we were treated with respect and kindness — even with the crazy kids in tow. Started off with the green bean tempura — absolutely delicious. The kids ate their dinners so it passes the test. My fish was great, everything was really just better than expected. And very yummy.

Filthy pew. sticky bathroom floors. The whole restaurant was very a tad on the dingy side, but I knew I was not at a 5 star place anyway. The turkey burgers were very good though and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. There’s a certain aroma at Ruby Tuesday restaurants that’s kind of like a rotty smell, but I can’t quite figure out what is is. So if you’re in Portsmouth and you really just don’t want to go where the hipsters go, go here! It’s like the bud heavy of restaurants when everyone just wants to be cool and get a PBR or a microbrew. Overall I guess your like of this place will largely depend on your expectations.

Some how this is one of those big big corporate operations that always nickels and dimes the customer. There is such high staff turnover it is probably not a pleasant place to work. Find one of their discount coupons… at least you won’t pay full price for a less than satisfying experience.

Visited for dinner. Warmly greeted at the door and promptly seated. Service was friendly and professional. The salad bar was clean and well stocked. This is a good place for people looking to control their diet. By combining a salad bar with an entrée it’s easy to avoid paying for a meal at the gym. Prices are good, about $ 10 for a combo that includes the salad bar. While salad bar choices are not extensive all the items are well prepared. This location is not immediately off the highway but close enough not to delay a trip north or south on I-95. Have not tried the alcohol, so won’t comment on the strength, value or quality of the drinks. Thisocation has a full bar. The bar seats are padded, have arms and look very comfortable! Complimentary garlic cheese biscuits before the meal are a nice touch!

This a fairly new location. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at a Ruby Tuesday so we decided to eat at this one since we were just down the street on business. They have a new chain wide menu with some fantastic choices. I ordered the spicy jalapeño burger on a pretzel bun with fries. It was delicious. My wife ordered the fish and chips. It was very good. Our server was outstanding. A definite stop if you’re in the area.

Our waitress was friendly and their Bellini raspberry ice tea is so yummy. The shrimp fondu dip was somewhat good, I like my cheese dips to be cheesier. Stay away from the crab cake and make your own. Mine was dry and seasoned weird.

The food is always good. The salad bar is great, but can be considered unreliable. They commonly run out of items, find dirty plates in the pile and missing usual salad items, because they ran out or it wasn’t ready. We still go back, though. Great value and service.

So, let me start by saying I am not a fan of chain restaurants as a whole because their drinks are week and their food is expensive for the lackluster service and mediocre food you typically receive. That being said I like Ruby Tuesday’s pretty well and visit once in a while when I get a craving for their southwestern spring rolls.(so good) I went there today because I was by the mall and having one of those cravings I was talking about so I went in to fulfill my wanting. No one was at the hostess stand so I just went to the bar and sat myself. The bartender was polite and prompt in greeting and offering me a drink. My first two usual drinks are not part of their inventory so I needed a minute and she was patient while i eventually decided on a Captain Morgan and ginger ale(good drink… for a chain). The bartender was even nice to the guy next to me who proceeded to pay with dimes and quarters.(really people, don;t do that… it’s annoying) I ordered my food and when it came out she asked if I had enough dipping sauce. I told her I would let her know if I needed some more. Sure enough I did(and another drink) but she was gone. There was another girl that just got behind the bar but I didn’t want to bother her because she was not my server. I eventually decided to ask where my bartender had gone and it turns out they had switched shifts. Okay, no problem. I just wish one of them had let me know so I didn’t sit waiting so long. After I had figured out what happened to my server everything was okay. The new girl was very nice too and got the things I needed quickly, put in a to go order for me and made me a good drink just like the first girl. My food and drinks ended up costing about 40 $…not bad, but the apps and drinks were only 5 $…happy hour specials made a difference. All and all pretty good but I still prefer the local businesses to chains.

The food here is kinda gross and heavy and blah all at the same time. But what do you expect when you come to a chain restaurant, fresh home cooking? The service is nice, set your expectations low and you’ll come away unscathed.

was looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning and headed to IHOP, but it had a long waiting line. Discovered that Ruby’s has Sunday brunch. It was very good — I had an omelet, which was perfectly cooked. Also included ygourt w/crunch topping(could have done w/out the topping), fruit and coffee. It was a bit expensive, which is the only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars. If they offered a lower priced brunch, or ala carte breakfast, I’d definitely go back.

This place is o.k. nothing real special. I like the décor. The reason I go is for the salad bar which is decent. They offer a salad bar/2 slider combo meal I like. Last few times the sliders were missing the shoestring onion rings so not sure if they stopped putting them on or it was an oversight but I missed them. I would stick to a burger or sandwich and salad at this place, my man got the chicken pot pie and did not like it, it was a messy plate of ingredients not the traditional pot pie he expected. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks including Jones Soda, yum! Strawberry lemon aid way too sweet for my taste.
