We like fusion restaurants so we drove down to try on a super hot Saturday nite. The cashier was friendly as we checked the menu options. We ordered chicken curry, beef pad thai, egg rolls, and orange chicken for about $ 36 with 2 drinks. Most everything was fresh and hot. We liked the chicken curry, but we wanted more rice. Pad thai was yummy, not enough peanuts tho! The orange chicken was hot, chewy and sweet and hubz liked the egg rolls. Overall it was ok for me, the portions were good… But I need more flavors in my sauces. Solid 3 stars!

Me and girlfriend came here for the first time for a late lunch. No AC which is the biggest downfall of this place. I got garlic green bean stir-fry w/chicken, With a Thai iced tea to drink. Solid 8⁄10 meal. She got general tso chicken and ranked it a 6.5÷10. We both would’ve liked more rice with our lunches but did enjoy the taste and portion size. Maybe ask for an extra scoop of rice? Will be back and looking forward to the next thing I try!

This really was not that good for us. The egg rolls were over cooked as was the general Tao chicken. Everything was average at best. Fast friendly service though.

Great food for a decent price. They offer a few different culinary cuisines, which is perfect because I love Thai and Vietnamese while my fiancé loves Japanese and Chinese.

The grilled chicken salad rolls are seriously amazing and the staff is so authentic and sincerely welcoming it feels like you’ve stepped back a couple of generations –it’s a small town kind of niceness. I will definitely go back to try something else and enjoy some delicious hot tea.

We were in the neighborhood, so stopped in because of the good rating and reviews. It is small, casual, and very clean, including the restroom. You order at the counter. We ordered chicken salad wraps and shrimp pad Thai. The salad wraps were perfect, with hot tasty chicken on one side and crispy veggies on the other. The wraps were served with a very tasty peanut sauce. The pad Thai had a very pretty presentation. But, it smelled odd, rather sour. It was inedible. I have been to Thailand and I know how it’s supposed to taste. I talked to the waitress and she got another dish for us, lemongrass chicken, which was very good. I just can’t get past how bad the pad Thai was, tasted spoiled.

We love this sketchy little hole in the wall! Their shrimp salad rolls are the best I have ever had and their Chow Fun is perfect; not too saucy and the wide noodles have the perfect chew. I tried the short ribs and while the flavor was good, the ribs had scant amounts of meat on them. The menu is small but that seems like a plus because they do those items extremely well. So happy this place is in my ‘hood!

Loved it! The service was fast and the food was definitely not fast food. It’s very small and crunched for seating, but I think because they move so quick you are in and out a lot quicker than you would expect. I took my PB&J kids and they loved it. Prices are reasonable and good size portions.

I absolutely love this place! The food is fresh, DELISH, and reasonably priced. The location is a little sketchy but I’ll put up with allot for good food. The cook and employees are always kind and listen to questions and concerns. I appreciate the cleanliness of the kitchen and openness to see your meal prepared. All I have to say is YUMMMM. Chicken curry is to die for! Fried calamari, salt and pepper shrimp, tofu puffs, salad rolls and pad Thai are just a few of my FAVS! Nom-nom-nom!!!

One of my favorite places for Grilled Salad rolls. They have of the best in town Grilled chicken(I don’t know what they grill it with but it’s tender juicy and packed with flavor) fresh veggie with an amazing peanut butter sauce.” Hmnmm hmmmm hmmmm it’s finger licking good”. Did I just say finger licking«Yes I did»!! Dear Wok shop, Thank you for making me actually enjoy my veggies and still keep my tummy satisfactied. You Rock!

I got take out from here and it was some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I got the coconut curry with chicken, which was so flavorful. Big chunks of tender chicken(thigh meat and plenty of it!) and thinly sliced bamboo and red bell peppers over rice. I loved how the curry was thick and not too soupy like other Thai places. It wasn’t overly spicy, but had a nice kick. Rice was cooked perfectly. It came with two sauces: a thick red chili sauce and a green sauce that I think was finely diced garlic and jalapeño… both so good! I also had a shrimp roll which was a decent size with large shrimp and little pieces of crispy eggroll skin, which I’ve never had in a salad roll but added a unique texture and flavor. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that my food was in the clear plastic containers that aren’t microwaveable. I split my dish into two smaller meals, but it could have easily been devoured in one sitting if I was hungrier.

I rolled in after 8:30PM, I typically do not dine late because I don’t want to be served the bottom of the barrel food that is about to get tossed. Even though it was late the service was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable being there. The food was made fresh to order and while I waited I could hear the wok sizzling and smell the food being cooked. It was a little bit torturous because I was starving. You order first and pay, then they bring the food to your table. The food looked great and tasted delicious. Yes, there were only 6 giant deep fried tofu pieces in my yakisoba, but because I am not a glutinous negative Unilocaler, I will not deduct any stars because it was more than enough food to eat.

A am seriously blown away with how pleased I am with this place! Hubby wanted teriyaki but our favorite place is closed on weekends, so out came Unilocal! Our favorite place was listed first, then another and then this place, with the best and most reviews we said«why not!?» The outside is deceiving, but honestly that’s how all the greats are. It shares a wall with a Plaid Pantry. Walk inside though and the dicey description from Unilocal is dead wrong. It’s clean, the colors and décor and pleasing to the eye and you can see your food being prepped. The menu is small, which I liked. We ordered the chicken teriyaki, the beef ribs, the chicken yakisoba and egg rolls. Let’s start with the egg rolls. Wow! They were dried perfectly, like super crunchy. Mmmmm I wish I had another one right now :( My husband went for his short ribs while I was still savoring the last egg roll. He handed me a piece and sooooo bomb! Cooked perfectly, falling off the bone, tender, juicy and such excellent flavor. I then broke into the yakisoba. At first bite, I thought to myself not the best is ever had, but still good. As I ate on though, the flavors really began to shine and once I took the last bite I was sad it was gone. A dish that didn’t make an amazing first bite impression stole my heart! Last thoughts, BEST yakisoba I’ve EVER had! We were too stuffed to get to the chicken teriyaki, but based on everything else I’m sure it’s going to be amaze-balls. All in all, definitely try this place!

Wow. We don’t eat out a ton, but my fiancée & I ate here for the first time a few days ago(ordered the coconut curry & gyoza), & were impressed to say the least. Neither of us have Ever had curry anywhere close to this good, it is Amazing(and we’ve tried our fair share of curry places in Oregon). Plus we both agree that this place had the best gyoza in Portland, we try it at every restaurant that has it & this place has the best flavor, the right crispy-level & such a good dipping sauce. We have now eaten here 3 times in the past 4 nights(he’s driving to pick up the order right now). We also tried the General Tso’s chicken(another food we have tried at many a restaurant), & again-this place is amazing! The chicken actually tastes like chicken-not just a mystery meat in breading & sauce. Plus the breading is a good & the sauce is very tasty. The one(very minor) thing I would change is just add some more sauce with the curry.(We just order it with extra sauce now to remedy this). This is a MUST-try restsurant, it is SOSO good. Literally everything we’ve had here is fantastic, it’s a hole-in-the-wall little place, but definitely worth the stop!

Best chicken salad rolls I’ve ever had! Usually you can get shrimp or tofu, so the salad roll variety is pretty awesome. Entrees as well are totally delish. I’ve tried just about everything they have to offer and have rarely been disappointed. If you’re looking for a recommendation though, the yakisoba with beef or chicken is so good.

Very tasty, and the folks who run the place are great. It’s a small counter-service place, but don’t let that fool you, the food is fresh and delicious.

We flew into Portland at noon and by the time we picked up our rental car we were hungry. WokShop was nearby and just looking for a quick bite, we went in with low expectations which were quickly exceeded. First, let me be honest: this place has no atmosphere. It is rather like a typical strip mall Asian food joint and the bathroom leaves much to be desired. If you can get past that, you’ll be good to go. I ordered the Thai lemongrass tofu and my husband got the Genera Tso chicken. Both were outstanding.(And my husband agrees even having just arrived back from a trip to China.) The meals were freshly prepared after we ordered and we sat sipping the complimentary green tea while we waited. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are craving Asian food and are in a hurry.

Great Chinese food. My 4 Star rating is bursting at the seams trying to be 5 stars. The fact that it is a small strip restaurant is the only thing holding them back. Tried a wide range of food. Pad Thai with chicken & shrimp. General Tso chicken. Garlic caramelized wings & beef & shrimp Chow Fun. All were great! !! This was a great find. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You’ll get hooked when Chinese is on your tasters.
