1925 duplex with mystery clog that flooded the ceilings intermittently. Over a two year period, five plumbers and a drain specialist took a crack at it, nada, all we got were the bills! The last plumber flooded the place and then called in a $ 14,000 water abatement specialist. Then God sent over Jason from Western and the dude is a freakin’ GENIUS. He found and fixed the mystery clog and did it in a way that guarantees the clog will never happen again. So, I mentioned to him, «Everyone says we can’t reuse the vintage kitchen sinks because they can’t be mounted again.» Jason isn’t everyone, he gave me a knowing smile and remounted my beautiful sinks. So, I showed him where the very good but slightly overzealous tile guy had tiled in the shower pipes and the tile needed to be removed in order to get the new fixtures on and he gave me a knowing smile, and got the new fixtures on without cutting tile. I met a couple other guys from Western when they came to lend a hand, drop off a part, etc., and they were all gems, polite, neat, personable. The front office is super easy to work with. Western Plumbing & Service for me!

Run, don’t walk, away from this business. They installed our entire plumbing system two years ago for $ 25,000. When I called them during the recent snow storm, the guy who answered the phone(on a week day), said, «Oh, all our guys decided to take a snow day.» Really? Like no one would have plumbing problems when it is 20 degrees out? And also I could get to work in my Prius that day, it isn’t like they couldn’t drive their trucks. I told him our pipe was frozen and I didn’t know what to do. He said he could get someone out in SIX days. So I called our contractor, who told me put a hair dryer on the pipe, turn on a space heater, or the pipe would break. I did that and it worked. So why wouldn’t the guy at this company, who we paid all this money to, walk me through that process?
