Very nice owner runs a typical shop: buy wholesale and charge a little for warming it up. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t expect made-from-scratch biscuits or non-processed hash browns(see photo.) Hot dog buns and condiments are Costo/Sysco quality, again, nothing wrong with that. Low prices make this a value play: filling, no-frill fare that’s satisfying.

I wanted to like this place I really did. Great location awesome customer service. Older gentleman at the window was a sweetheart. I got the spicy sausage dog with a Caleb’s cola. The cola was great definitely with the cost. Now the problem. The food. I noticed when I walked up he had Hebrew dogs I was excited but was a little more hungry the a Hebrew packs. I think my sausage dog was actually smaller. It also did not have the consistency of a sausage dog but instead was that of a regular dog. The relish was also a super bright green. Kinda creepy. It was under cooked and I’m pretty sure microwaved to just a tempid warm temperature. I may come back and try the porklandia because I want to love this place.

Delicious hot dogs at affordable prices located conveniently on the Portland State University campus. The owner is really friendly, and the Chicago dog is amazing. Plus you can get a punch card; 5 visits(in which you spend $ 5 or more) will earn you either a free regular dog or $ 3 off your next purchase.

I love anything hot dog and this truck made my mouth water. Nothing gourmet– just your good ol’ street food that you’d find in NYC or Chicago. I paid $ 5 for a Chicago dog that was packed with every flavor I savor in a hotdog. I thoroughly enjoyed it! If your searching for something simple, no surprises, and hits the spot, this is your truck. I’d give it five stars but I thought the prices were too high.

Sometimes you just want a hot dog. This is the place. Very low prices and quality stuff. Run by a very friendly gentleman. Regular hot dog, chips, and a soda for 5 bucks probably makes this guy really popular with the PSU students. Dude makes a killer Chicago dog. Also has a punch card system: buy 5 get one free. Nothing fancy. Just a food cart but a good value.

Super friendly service and a great selection. Very reasonable prices with quality ingredients. I got the Porklandia, which had cheese on the inside, wrapped in bacon, and had crunchy onion bits on top. Absolutely delicious. They’ve got just about any hot dog you could want as well as tater tots. I will definitely be back.
