I came up to Portland for a girl’s day with two friends. For our dinner, we hit up food trucks and for dessert, we decided to try Fondue-it. We ordered the deluxe dessert fondue. It came with about 4 fortune cookies, 6 strawberries, 6 apple slices and 5 powdered sugar donut things. There was a chocolate dip and a compote of the day which was an Oregon strawberry that day. The fondue was delicious especially the freshly-baked donuts. It was a good size for 3 people(cost $ 8) and we were quite happy. The fortune cookies were kind of weird and random and I would prefer if they replaced that with something else though. Also, the guy working at the food truck brought the food out to us. I was on my way up to get it and I saw him dashing across to the seating area with our food and an extra lid to prevent it from getting wet. How nice is he?! I really appreciated this gesture. I’m glad my friends found this place!

I tried this place again thinking I would like the cheese fondue better without the green stuff on the fondue(I am still not sure what it is.) So I got the bread and cheese without the green stuff. You get a TON of bread, but the bread isn’t very good, and this time the fondue was worst. I’m sorry to say that this place is dead to me. Too bad, the owner is a nice guy.

I had the chocolate covered bacon for $ 2. It wasn’t too busy and the guy made it on the spot so it only took like a minute. As he made it, he explained everything he was putting on it like powdered sugar, what type of bacon it was, the chocolate. Friendly service. It was definitely interesting and different. Personally, I think there should be more chocolate on it as the bacon’s saltiness still overpowers the chocolate and upsets the balance between sweet and salty. Also, $ 2 seems to be a bit much for one piece of bacon. I didn’t try the other stuff.

Fon Due It! I love this fondue, I will take it over the melting pot or some other overpriced fondue shop any day. These dudes know their cheese.

The service you get from this cart is superb! Don’t go there if you are in a hurry, great food takes time. The food is awesome! I can’t wait to go back! After our little meal, the owner of the cart came bye and gave us a free little desert! Now I can’t wait to try their desert stuff! Definitely one of the best carts around!

This place was my #3 favorite cart of the day(out of the 12 carts we tried). So, that’s pretty good. The bread was amazing and the fondue was very good(sadly, the bread overshadowed the fondue, but it was still good). The sausage wasn’t the best, and neither were the. .. sorry, I don’t remember what they were called, but they were the little fried doughnut like things that were to be dipped in the chocolat fondue. The strawberries and chocolate fondue were wonderful, though. It was a bit of an odd mixture of amazing and not so amazing flavors, but knowing what I know now(on what to order), the second time would be even better. The service was also great. I’d definitely go back.

chocolate covered bacon with some powdered sugar on a stick… chocolate = yum. bacon=yum. two great tastes that don’t belong together — or at least not in this configuration. and they took at least 15 minutes to make. also the hours vary on these carts, so if the dude doesnt feel like being there, then no chocobaco for you

Chocolate fondue hit the spot after dinner. The guy was so nice and he made sure all five of us girls each got the little fried dough ball thing. I really wanted to try the chocolate covered bacon, but there’s always another time! Fondue is just fun!

Went to get some cart food and couldn’t pass up the opportunity for truffle fries. $ 8 for fries but delicious, along with the cheese sauce for dipping, so I’m glad we got them. Very friendly staff also. Would go back and try more of the menu based upon this trip.

I love fondue. I love food carts. A fondue food cart? Sounded like the meshing of two genius ideas if you ask me… and it kinda was. The cheese fondue came with two toppings, we chose bacon and green onions, it was piping hot and came with crusty bread and a few veggies. We also tried the chocolate fondue, it was on the daily special and came with a homemade strawberry compote, that was pretty damn delicious, but the best part… was the zeppoles. They were like little hot, fried doughnut holes of goodness rolled in powdered sugar. Be still my beating heart… dipped in chocolate? Yes, please. I brought the remainder home to the husband and heated it all back up, it was just as good the second time! The guy at the counter was super nice and explained the how-to’s of ordering fondue from a food cart and he even brought our food to us when it was ready. I liked this place!

Lame joint. They just moved up to Division and 5oth. Gross food and I saw the owner/manager yelling at his workers. Dont fondue it unless you are fond of bellyache and headache.

I tried the chocolate bacon and the candied bacon. It comes on a skewer for $ 1 each. I’d eat it again and try some other menu items. Unique idea for a cart in a city with about every type of food cart imaginable.
