US Post Office

I was running late after work needing to go to the bank to get a cashiers check to mail in my tax payment. At the bank, a customer in front of me decided that was the time to argue about everything. After about 20 minutes, I was finally able to head to the Post Office. I had never been to this location not knowing it was even there. When I pulled up I wasn’t sure where to park or how to really get in. There was a door but wasn’t sure. There am was a Postal worker standing on the side of the road next to the building. She seemed to be waiting for someone. I decided to pull up and ask her if I was in the right place. She was so nice. She apologized for it being so confusing and showed me where the entrance was. When I asked her if I could just park on the side of the street she looked at where I pointed and then looked at what I was mailing and said, «If that’s all you have, I can run that inside for you. I’m just waiting for my daughter» she took my mail and ran it inside for me.
After the day I had and how late I was running to my next appointment, she was an Angel. This world is full of people who go above and beyond but are mostly over-​shadowed by all the bad. This lady, whose name I wish I would have gotten, was a Godsend today.

This office is absolutely incompetent at doing there job. I was leaving for work last week and happened to see my mail carrier throwing trash in my neighbors yard so I stopped and asked him to pick up his trash I just watched him throw on the ground. He proceeded to yell at me and then when I checked my mail the next day I noticed he had put a service discontinued notice in my box. I went to the Post Office and let a supervisor know what happened and was told that it was taken care of. Now it has been a week and my mail carrier still has not delivered to me. I have contacted them repeatedly with this issue and nothing has been done. I am expecting important documents in the mail for my insurance and my bills but I guess they are just to stupid to do their jobs.
