truck no thanks–
I saw some new carts going up in the moonshine lot. I have been wondering for years what was going to end up there… yay for carts!
Unfortunately I had a crap falafel and tabouli from the friendly guy in his truck.
The tabouli was 91% curly parsley with the random grain of bulgar and some red onion. I rarely (basically never) throw anything (not rotten) away. Two mouthfulls of fluffy parsley had me so irritated– it went right into the garbage.
The worst part was that he handed me a bag with the dry-​ass falafel and the tabouli in such a way that plastic to-​go «clam shell» that held the tabouli had leaked liquid all over the bag, falafel and my cars floor mat.
Sorry, but it ruined my day.

Truck Yeah is parked near the coffee shack on the corner of Lombard and MLK. It’s usually there for lunch on weekdays. The falafel is very tasty, inexpensive and vegan (if you request). Nice fast lunch in an otherwise wasteland of nasty food in that area.
