Love coming here. Biscuits and gravy are a hit with my son and I. He gets great deals on his energy drinks he likes. The staff is always friendly. Some of our local transits come into cash in there cans and bottles along with purchase items they would like. I just like how they treat the transits just like there regular customers that come in. Nobody gets treated any differently. My son also likes there sandwiches they have to offer in the case along with some of there good treats. Thank you for being and staying here in St. Johns we appreciate you being here The Deli Express. Getting ready to go up and get our B&G now.

The sign actually says«St. John’s Deli», if that helps alleviate potential confusion… .on the other hand, it’s a qwiky mart type of operation. What’s the big deal? There is little deviation apparent here, from the standard boiler-plate of such convenience stores. There are few if any surprises. However, they do have really good sandwiches, made to order fresh! Any 7 – 11 in No Po has multiple advantages over places like St. John’s Deli Express, but the sandwiches here are definitely better than just about any 7 – 11. Except maybe for the 7 – 11 on Swan Island, that one has a huge deli w/soups even! Too bad they don’t use the bad-ass drive-thru anymore… I just recently learned that the sister store for this Deli is out in an industrial park out in Milwaukie– literally just across 224 from my old home there. I don’t know if it’s the same owners as started the place in the late 70s, but again, it’s a convenience store. Not maybe people other than me would probably even care about such details…

Happy to have these guys as my local mini-market. Cheaper than your average market. Great beer/soda/mixer/candy/junk food selection. Open every time I have needed them– not sure what the actual hours are. I never eat their deli food– but know people who do and think it’s just fine. I just happen to be VERY picky about meat, cheese and bread and theirs’ doesn’t really look like something I would eat.
