The pizza here is soooo good. But that’s not all! They make great sandwiches and sides, too. Like, really great. Lately, I’ve just been ordering whatever the daily special is and I have been extremely satisfied each time.
The last special I had was basically Thanksgiving dinner on a sandwich. Garlic whipped taters, thick sliced turkey, cranberry sauce, and some greens (I think it was arugula?) on a lovely sub roll with a side of turkey gravy for dipping. My productivity at the office the next hour was seriously diminished (ZZzzZZzz), but I sure as hell wasn’t hungry.
And they have a decent beer selection!
This is far and away the best place to eat on Swan Island, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Portland.

Had kale and grapefruit salad with grilled chicken. The dressing is bomb! Even a kale hater said he liked it. Sandwiches are on quality and flavorful bread. Not bland like everywhere else. Also tried pizza which was generous with toppings. You get a lot out of one slice. Mac & cheese was the favorite. Has bacon for a savory side and peppers for a kick. AWESEOME lunch spot.

This place totally rocks. I work on Swan Island and used to frequent this place when it was Pizza Lina’s. The amazing pizza that I used to get is still on at Boxed Bistro which is awesome but then they also have tons of other great stuff! They make a grinder sandwich that I dream about. They totally customize it for me because I’m mega picky too! Also their creamy blue cheese & apple wood bacon potato salad is to die for! They also do catering and that’s great too! 5 stars all the way.
