Chris Dawkins helped us find our home in 2007. He really knows this business. He listened to what we told him we wanted and combed through lots of listings for us. He found us an awesome vintage four bedroom, two bathroom English Tudor home in a very desirable neighborhood. He pointed out what was quality remodeling and how unique and cool our vintage light fixtures are. I have been telling everyone in the home market about him since 2007.

Chris helped us buy a house in 2010. It was/​is our first home and I’m so glad he was our agent. Like others have mentioned, Chris knows a lot about home construction and remodeling, so he could identify potential problems (or things about the home that didn’t meet our needs) and let us know approximately how much it would cost to fix/​update it. When we found the house that felt like home, Chris was astute at negotiating a lower price due to repairs needed. He was also an excellent resource for a mortgage broker and several contractors we’ve used over the years. I won’t hesitate to have Chris represent us if/​when we sell our home, and I recommend him to everyone I know who wants to buy in Portland.

Chris is a fantastic agent. He is extremely knowledgeable about house construction and contracting. He knows the Portland area well and is very good at assessing both the quality of a property, and how good of a match it for the buyer.
