Before eating here, I’d never had Middle Eastern or Moroccan, let alone Tunisian food before. This food cart is like a block from my apartment and is open late and I’ve been tempted to try it for a long time. I’m so glad I finally did! I got the chicken and couscous. It came with grilled chicken over couscous with grilled onions on top and this amazing creamy white garlic sauce. There was also a Tunisian salad included consisting of chopped cucumbers, tomato, and lettuce tossed in a vinaigrette. Honestly I can’t remember everything that was in it because I inhaled it so quickly. It also came with a little roll called a tagine. I didn’t like that so much. I found the filling too sour. But otherwise I really enjoyed my food. Did I mention it was only $ 7 and came with A LOT of food? The lady running the cart was also especially friendly. I definitely plan on returning.

Came here late on a Friday night, my friend said «make me the best thing you can make» he made her a lamb chop that was one of the best things I’ve literally ever had. These guys are so nice and super chill you HAVE to come here!

When I lived downtown a few months ago, I would come here practically every single night after work to pick up a some couscous with chicken or couscous with lamb shank. And it’s such a generous amount that I always had some leftover for breakfast. Yep that’s right — I ate this night and day and in the 4 months I lived in the area, I never got tired of it cuz it is amazing good. Plus It’s fun hanging out with Eddie (the owner) and his friends and family who are sometimes there just hanging out, having a good time — so it’s a cool lil hangout spot too — great vibes. Ultra authentic. This place is one of Portland’s hidden gems. def check it out. Plus eating couscous is a great way to stay lean cuz its not as carby as bread and potatoes and rice — but IT IS just as filling and delicious! Usually open late (especially on the weekend)

Ordered lamb liver sandwich for $ 5 pomegranate and orange sanpellegrino soda. Friendly customer service and was surprised it’s open so late. Happy to get protein and iron intake :) No other customers so order was relatively fast and shared the meal with a friend.

several friends and i went and they grilled up 4 different kinds of chicken that was nothing like I have ever had, marinated for days and grilled fresh. the couscous was soooooo good soft and a depth of flavor. I can not wait to go back again and try more of the food everything they make was so flavorful. wonderful service… family ran cart that is doing it right!

Wonderful service, open late during weekdays and nights. In university district area. Delicious flavor, many authentic options. I would recommend stopping by this cart if it is late evening and you want inexpensive, high quality food.

Great spot that opens pretty late (goes up to 2am on the weekends sometimes)! Finally a food cart that’s not over priced and more important, the food is so good. I’ve had the Philly cheesesteak and it was really delicious. The cheese was melted perfectly. I also tried the lamb liver sandwich and was super! The person working was super friendly and made the food with care. I definitely will be back to try different dishes, totally worth it.

Hidden gem. Delicious authentic reasonably healthy food made with high quality ingredients. All the food is great, but the burger with an over easy egg on top, hands down the best burger in town. Hand rolled patties of deliciousness. The guy that runs the place is extremely nice. If people knew about this place, there would be a line around the block.

Late night and I was wandering around looking for food, which let me tell you really isn’t all that easy downtown. I love the style of food and as soon as I saw that they had lamb I was sold. SO delicious! Low key, no pressure, great food!!! Will be coming back!
