Sweetpea’s

As a single dad of two small girls, I sometime need a little extra help shopping especially for their clothes, Sweetpeas has great prices and the sales girl, named Rena has always made me feel comfortable and supported. Thanks to Sweetpeas, my girls are well dressed and I can afford to spoil them with all the low prices!

They have beautiful clothes for kids but I will not come back due to the no returns store policy. I understand not wanting people to abuse returns, but their all or nothing approach to this topic means I will not choose to shop here. Also, I felt lectured by the staff person working the store who seemed rude and a bit immature. She lectured me, called the owner and gossip for several minutes, left the store to chat with someone on the street, then returned to check me out. I actually felt sad while shopping there due to the customer service. I won’t be back.

I LOVE Sweetpea’s! I have been shopping and consigning there for almost a year. They have a good selection, reasonable prices and great staff. Even after I had only been there a couple of times the owner and the person who works there most frequently recognized me, learned my name and pointed out items to me that they knew were my daughter’s size or that I had been looking for. They have also pulled things out of the items to be tagged when I mention what I am in the market for — great customer service. I also really love that they carry women’s clothes — maternity AND regular so that I can occasionally get something for myself as well!

This place has a lot of potential! my daughter and I where strolling Alberta today and stopped by it. I’d driven by several times and it was on my list of places to check out. I love dressing my two children and consignment stores are my favorite!
I walked in and it took the man playing puzzle games on the computer at least 5 minutes to notice me, it was really awkward since I was the only customer. There was a lot of decent stuff on the racks at reasonable prices. The toys section was wrecked from what I guessing was a former child shopper, my stroller was hard to push around the small tight corners (I was using my UPPA baby umbrella stroller, it’s small) and in the end I put back the dress I was considering due to lack of customer service. I felt out of place and didn’t want to go to the register.
I think this place is great but lacks a welcoming feel that I expect from a small business. I will try again and hope for better service.

This is a hidden gem! My mom and I stumbled across this store while walking on Alberta. They’ve got a great selection of boys clothing and the store is clean and doesn’t smell like old clothes. A lot of kids stores smell funky. They also are super fair in buying clothing and their prices are totally reasonable.
