Subway

Love this subway. All the employees are very friendly and always ready to help you when you walk in the door. I eat here about once a week and love coming back.

We have been to many of the Subways in Portland. Recently tried the Subway on Killingsworth
Ave which is within 1 mile from our home. I understand it is under new management. The staff have been so helpful and pleasant to assist us with questions being seniors and not able to eat the same things as we did a few years ago.
They answered questions and made salads that were fresh and nicely put together telling us why they prefer their method of placing ingredients in a certain order. Also they accommodated for the items we needed on the side. All very nicely done and easy to carry home. Oh the cookies were a nice treat. Prices are reasonable for fresh quality food compared to some fast food places.
We thank the staff and managment at this fine Subway on Killingworth.

Five stars for Leila, this place is open til midnight, and even at 11:55 she greets customers cheerfully and makes them feel welcome. It would be all to easy to just want midnight to come, but Leila doesn’t quit til closing time.
Mason served me the second time I was such a joy to chat with I stuck around an hour talking about vidya. It was late and there were no customers. Thanks Mason.

Awful. Ordered a BLT with avocado. But it was a BLT I’ve ever seen before — it had cucumbers, peppers and jalapeño peppers… but it did have the «T» meaning it had a couple slices of tomatoes. And the bread was stale! I will never go back here.

Awesome! Even though they maybe understaffed and the prices aren’t as cheap as they should be; the workers make up for it. They are very friendly from the openers to the closers. Couldn’t find a better small crew to work minimum wage at a local subway. Neighborhood is better then most, so employees reflect upbeat friendly service. Last but least, very clean and have never worried about cleanliness. They always wash hands before putting on the gloves to prepare my footlong weakness.

Fast and friendly

I have mixed feelings about this Subway. Food-​wise, it seems to have the same quality as any other Subway– nothing particularly awful, nothing particularly amazing.
The customer service can be either great or terrible, depending on what day you come in. Sometimes the employees are super nice and friendly. They smile. They chat pleasantly about the weather and other happy things. Their kindness makes the sandwich-​obtaining process just a little bit brighter each day.
Sometimes though, the customer service makes you realize the truth: that you’re eating an over-​priced sandwich at a fast food restaurant. Yes, it isn’t that great working in the fast food industry, but do you have to act like I’m seriously inconveniencing you by placing an order?
