Subway

I really don’t understand these businesses. They advertise they are open till 10pm, but at 9.45 they already have everything put away and refuse to sell anything. Change your damn times, so I know!
I work in a similar business, open till 1am. If a customer makes a $ 1 or a $ 100 order at 12.59am, I will make that. Because that’s what we do in this business.
If you don’t understand that, you’re in the wrong business.

First of all, I must say that the male employee I had serve me last week in the evening, was awesome! He was polite, quick, and knew what he was doing.
However, it was 6pm and he was the only one «working». The customer in front of me asked where the other employees were and he replied «she took her break». Who the hell takes a break at 6pm when you work at a restaurant?! By the time my sandwiches were ready to have the veggies added, she (the other employee) came strolling into the door reeking of cigarettes. She washed her hands (luckily) and took over on my sandwiches. Not only was she not personable whatsoever, she did a terrible job at finishing my sandwiches. They were so sloppy that when I got home my husband had to eat his with a fork!
I have complained to Subway Inc. about the service at this location before, the manager even called me. I know it’s not easy to find good help at the wage they pay, but it also isn’t hard to train your employees right. I should know, I managed 3 Subways for 6 years.
I won’t be returning to this location. I will instead drive another mile to the next one.
