Great customer service. Lots of seating. I always have a strong internet connection here. Can chill here for hours at my leisure. Did I mention they always make my drink perfectly, no matter how many weird specifications and add ons? This place is the best. Only wish they’d turn the music down a bit, as my ears are sensitive to loud noises.

This Starbucks near Portland State University is surprisingly good. Plenty of the other Starbucks locations in close proximity are plenty underwhelming. This has lots of space, lots of outlets, public restrooms and a couch. One of Washington’s biggest imprints on the world stage could be seen in a better light if they tried as hard at all their locations. It was nice to go here. It is just across the block from light rail. Value is a bit of a question mark; this is Starbucks after all. Our selection here is impressive. They really bring out what their La Boulange brand has to offer. I promptly found seating. Starbucks can clone this for the university.

Typical starbucks. Very comfortable. It has… something… that makes it feel more like portland than just any old starbucks. Hard to describe. But I like it.

Really nice outdoor space, on a corner, facing PSU and the freeway off ramp. As long as you don’t mind the occasional but digging through the trash can on the corner. If you do, you can sit further away from the corner. Quick and friendly service. Seemed to be ample window space inside, but I didn’t notice the outlet situation since I stayed outside. Bathrooms were a little nasty, but, hard to find a public bathroom that isn’t these days. I’ll come back.

This is far and away the best Starbucks in Portland, OR, USA. The staff are friendly, and not just because they have to be. The drinks are actually somehow better than at other Starbucks. And they never make mistakes. Ever.

I’m not a Starbucks fan, but certain drinks aren’t overly horrible and the fact that you can always find a Starbucks inside another Starbucks is handy! That said I love this location and the feel of this one shop. It’s open and light with a great group of employees. The proximity of the shop to my dorm and the mind numbing effects of endless chapters of textbook dribble keeps me returning.

This PSU Starbucks might as be one of the school’s living rooms, as there’s space to spread out, enjoy, or get down to business. That includes not only the coffee bar area(with nice big windows and light), but also the student friend back room, where I enjoyed my coffee in the shadow of people staring at their screens or looking each other in the eye as part of a project assignment. This is perhaps one of the most comfortable Starbucks of which I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy a cup of java and some quality personal time.

Coffee was bitter, actually the drip coffee always sends my husband off spinning in circles because it often has grounds in it. So my husband got another cup of coffee today and when it was super bitter again asked to exchange it for a latte and he’d pay the difference. Chris was great and offered him a on the house latte. Happy customers :)

I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks as a company but this location is great! The staff is fantastic and I come in almost everyday. Hands down the best Starbucks I’ve been to.

Wow! These baristas are so friendly and pleasing to look at. The service is quick, despite it usually being extremely busy since it is in the middle of campus. The store is always so clean! Wow! (Don’t go here if you plan on ordering off the«secret menu.» It doesn’t exist and the baristas won’t know what you’re talking about.)

They ran out of all of the baked goods, and also cream cheese. That’s right, I had to have a bagel with butter on it. And I’m pretty sure the cashier was hoarding the cream cheese for himself because of the shifty glances he kept giving his bag. On top of this my bagel was cut 3 times and then stuffed into a bag casually like nothing happened. And I’m still not full.

Typical college town service. Nothing exceptional. Drinks were good. Food was sloppy. The service was not like other Starbucks. Baristas had a ‘what do you want’ kind of service.

When it comes to Starbucks, you know what you’re getting. The menus at each franchise are just about identical, but there are distinct differences that make some branches more favorable than others. This review is meant to reflect what makes this Starbucks unique more so than the company as a whole. The 5-star«as good as it gets» rating I am giving this Starbucks should be read as «Woohoo! As good as a Starbucks gets!» This is a rare pocket of Portland that doesn’t have a lot of other options of less corporate coffee shops. There’s a Seattle’s best not too far away and then another Starbucks off the South Park Blocks. The store is incredibly spacious, clean, and well staffed by friendly baristas. This is easily my favorite Starbucks in Portland. For frequent coffee drinkers, I also strongly recommend pursuing a Starbucks Gold Card if you do not already have one. By simply reloading and reusing a gift card, you can easily reach Gold status(which I think is worth it even under the new company rules). By doing so you get a free drink or food item after you’ve racked up 12 «gold stars»(items purchased).

I am a coffee junkie, specifically Starbucks, and I have never been to a better Starbucks than the one in the Broadway Building on PSU campus. First of all, they make great coffee; I can always depend on getting a good cup o’ joe, no matter who is making it. They strive to learn every customer’s name — seriously, they really do. I am always pleasantly surprised when they welcome me by name! The store manager, Sarah, clearly expects the most of her employees, and she leads by example. I love it there! Fortunately for me, I work in the same building, so I get to see them almost daily :)

Best Starbucks at PSU, hands down. I used to live in the Broadway Building and these guys made my breakfast almost daily. Sarah(the manager) is a sweet chick and we always chatted while she was making my coffee. The staff is great and they always remember what I like. I only had to specify«cold» or «hot». My favorite baristas: Toby, Salvatore and of course, Sarah! I miss this store!

As far as Starbucks go, this is definitely the best in town. Spacious seating where you can actually study or work, lots of outlets for laptops, and the last time I was there, they added an extra shot of espresso to my drink(which it turned out I very much needed). Again, not a huge Starbucks fan but this place has everything I need, plus amazing service!

I live right by this Starbucks, and feel lucky that I do. I have been in quite a few times and have always received really great service. I went in the other night to try something new and the two young(and very friendly) men told me that if I didn’t like the drink they would make me something else. The drink(cinnamon dolce something) tasted wonderful. I will for sure go back to this Starbucks(and it is very clean and lots of room to sit).
