I would love to give this Starbucks location 5 stars for the friendly staff and fast service. I am giving only 4 stars now because I directly told two separate drive– through workers that the counter outside is noticeably filthy, dusty, with spider webs– a few days apart. It’s several days later now, and that counter has still not been cleaned. Disappointed. Cleanliness is key.

I often drink Starbucks. I am not, however, a fan of this location. I only order chai, but this place is hit and miss on whether or not it tastes right. I also find the staff a bit rude, especialy when compared to other Starbucks locations. Its close to work, or I would go elsewhere.

My parents have this misguided belief that, even though I LOVE coffee, I’m a Starbucks fan. I am not. For Holidays, they give me gift cards for this company, and instead of letting them sit and gather dust, I supply my rather horrid coffee addiction(yes, I’m absolutely unashamed to admit to it) by frequenting this company. With that being said, I was under the equally misguided belief that all Starbucks(and thereby the training and quality of their employees) are the same. I was wrong. Horribly, irretrievably incorrect. I walked into this«café» with the hopes of getting a drink and a breakfast sandwich while I waited for my boyfriend to finish decimating his opponents at the local indoor airsoft arena. I ordered a venti smores frappucino(approximately $ 6) and a cheddar and bacon croissant(approximately $ 4.50). The«barrista» confirmed my order, said that they didn’t have the marshmallow whipped cream and asked if subbing with regular whipped was fine(which I agreed to). Several people came in before and after me(apparently this place was the HAPPENING place to be on a Saturday in Portland), and were served promptly. Get that? People came after me and were served promptly!!! When I was told my order was ready, I received a Grande and a Small(!!!) Smores Frappucino and what amounted to be sausage mcmuffin. *blinks* Apparently, the folks in Portland don’t care what they get, as long as they get something. There was no offer to correct, and any attempts to get the attention of ANY barrista went unheard. I had better service at the Starbucks in the New York New York Casino in Las Vegas.

Stupid that you make someone wait for 15 minutes for an UNTOASTEDBAGEL!!! Usually this one is spot on, but not today. And then I even had to ask for it. Bad.

Every single time I have gone to this Starbucks, I have had a lousy experience. It seems like it always takes FOREVER to get your order! The people who work here seem like they either don’t know how to do their job, are inefficient, or have not been trained on any customer service skills or etiquette. My most recent experience was the last straw. I will never, ever consider being a customer here again. Which is quite unfortunate considering I work only a couple blocks away. I work in the evenings, so my break is usually around 7 or 8 pm. I hadn’t been back in a few months because of past experience but I decided a couple days ago to give another try, maybe things have changed for the better. I got there and stood behind a gentleman making his order at the cash register. It was taking him awhile because he’s conversing and laughing with the cashier. Which is fine, because I thought ok sounds like they know each other or he’s a regular customer, and I still had time before I had to head back to work. Finally I get up to the counter with a smile on my face and a «how’s it going?» The cashier never made eye contact while taking my order. Ok whatever. But after I made my order, it was a loooong wait to get my one macchiato drink. Again, this was 8pm in the evening and it was just me and one other person before me, and there were three staff persons working behind the counter. Well, the barista was making the three drinks for the gentleman who was before me, talking and laughing, and taking her time. I was waiting patiently thinking, ok it’s fine obviously this is a regular customer and they know him well. After it took the barista for what seemed like ages making the three drinks, she disappeared. I thought, ok maybe she went to get more milk or something. So, when she didn’t return to her station after a few minutes, and thinking that I needed to get back to work soon, and that I had waited more than the appropriate amount of time, I went up to the counter to ask for my drink. I saw that she was already doing a different task now, talking and laughing with her two coworkers. And of course my empty pre-macchiato cup still sitting at the espresso-machine station waiting to be attended to. So I asked if I was going to get my drink soon. They all stopped in the middle of their conversation and looked at me like I was a nuisance. The barista said«yes» and returned to her station, no eye contact, no «sorry about the wait,» nothing. It took her literally seconds to make my drink, then placed it on the counter with no eye contact, no smile, then turned her back to me to return to her friends, while at the same time saying an obviously insincere«have a nice evening.» I thought, wow they must really only like regular customers. I got my drink and went back to work. Took a sip and it was pretty awful. For almost $ 5 I got lousy customer service, an unnecessarily long wait time, and a very bad macchiato. Gee, thanks 122nd Starbucks, but no thanks.

Ok this is nasty. The floor is all wet were you pick up your drinks. It took a customer insisting they put out a wet floor sign before the staff would address it. Eventually one of the behind the counter staff came out and said it was leak from under one of the sinks. One customer asked if they planned to call a plumber. She sighed and said they called over an hour ago. An hour!!! It’s been leaking and a slip hazard and they just now put out the wet floor sign? Wow what the heck ever Starbucks. Guess your people want to be neglectful and cause someone to fall in this store. Again it’s Nasty and Dangerous.

I’m usually pretty forgiving for Starbucks or anywhere but this one… I don’t know about you. I swing by this one if I need a jolt before work since it’s convenient on my way. I’ve done the drive through and inside and have had«meh» service both ways. The first few times, NO issues with my order. Then I tried the drive thru — I got my drink all okay(skinny vanilla latte) but my breakfast sandwich was not the turkey bacon I’d order — just plain bacon & egg even though she confirmed«turkey bacon». Of course I discovered this AFTER I drove off and was well down the road. Grg. The next time I decided to just go inside to avoid issues — plus a walk isn’t a bad thing, right? I again ordered myself a Grande Skinny Vanilla Latte with an extra shot & the turkey bacon breakfast sandwich. Sandwich was great, exactly what I ordered — the drink? Yeah it was a skinny vanilla latte — but guess what it wasn’t? A GRANDE. It was a tall. Granted I got the extra shot but the correct order would have been a grande with three shots. In a grande cup. She even called it out — GRANDESVL — but I know the sizes and that was a tall. I asked her even — this is a grande, it looks like a tall? She smiled and said yup it’s a grande. WTF. I had my grande in the car from the day before and guess what wasn’t the same size… I was too annoyed and late to argue at that point. I normally speak up but was already 10 minutes late due to the dawdling people in front of me, and the woman who stole my drink in the first place. Next time I’m writing my damn order down. *also super neat they take food orders from the regulars behind me in line before me so I had to wait longer. I mean, really?

Fast and friendly staff. I was just passing through from Seattle to Virginia. Found this Starbucks on the Starbucks App. It is a stand alone store, has a drive through. Building is orange, which I was not expecting so I almost missed it. Glad I didn’t though! :)

The funniest thing just happened here… I had literally just checked in on Unilocal as I sat down outside here with my order at 12:06pm on Wed 8÷21÷13. This place has a large outdoor, partially covered seating area with plenty of people out here. One party(two women and a baby) just got up and left because there is an orange-vested worker out here ONTHEPATIO with a LEAFBLOWER! As giant clouds of dust and debris came wafting over us, I looked at the startled & perplexed faces of the other patrons… I just burst out laughing I was so incredulous! He is still here, and being that he’s operating a gas-powered leaf blower, it is extremely loud!(And smelly) Just what my food was missing… A little dirt & garbage, I thought to myself! Fortunately the service inside was most excellent, which is why this place is earning 4 stars. :-)

No stars! I’ve really tried to give them chances but time and again they disappoint here! Extremely slow drive thru during rush time and half the time they get ur order wrong. I went for the new items today not onyly were they sold out at 1:00p, the cashier was rude cutting me off every other word to take orders n wouldn’t accept my free drink offer from Starbucks! All the time I took waiting n didn’t get what I came there for in the first place! Horrible service

I want to heart this location. The people here are lovely. But this is the Starbucks that you go to if you are not in a hurry to get somewhere. You’ll spend as much time in line inside as you would idling in your car in the drive thru. The baristas are nice, always smiling and perky. However, with seven of them behind the counter every time I visit this spot, it makes me wonder: do they just have an unending well of picky-ass patrons in line ahead of me to draw from or are the baristas making every single beverage by pulling one shot at a time? I don’t know the answer. All I ever get is drip coffee and my stops still take me over 15 minutes here. God help me if I order something with shots in it. Maybe they could benefit by training this team at the Pioneer Square location where they know how to get you in and get you out, with a packed café, and a perfect beverage in hand every time.

We were on our way to Costco and the day was rainy and dark, so my hubby needed a cup of coffee, I of course got my usual Passion Ice tea. This place is insanely busy. It took forever to get out drinks.

I normally don’t review Starbucks… because. + They were nice when I walked in — four people looked up and said hello and smiled. + A mom and her 8 year old are working on homework together. That’s nice. + The soundtrack is cool: XTC — Making Plans for Nigel, Devo — Working in a Coal Mine, etc. But, its not too loud — perfect. + Its cold out and wet and my coffee is hot. Now I’m gettin’ all warm and fuzzy… Shit I’m tempted to boost this from a 4 to a 5… yeah, what the hell… time to even things up. Why would you rate a Starbucks a 2 because its a Starbucks? Thanks Starbucks, I don’t hate you because you’re you.

Was surprised to see the low ratings for this Starbucks — but it’s been over a year since anyone has written a review. This Starbucks was packed when I walked in late on a cold, rainy Pacific Northwest afternoon — around 4:30 pm. Ordered a Tall, double shot peppermint mocha. Took about seven minutes for my drink to come up as there were a ton of customers in front of me waiting for drinks, plus the folks going through the Drive Thru. My drink was strong and delicious! On a side note — nothing to do with Starbucks per say — but there were quite a few odd customers in the store at the time I was there.

I love this time of year because you can get fantastic holiday flavored lattes and mochas. Just like Michelle H. said, we needed a chai nog and a pumpkin spice latte so we decided to hit this Starbucks before heading out to some day after Thanksgiving shopping. Luckily we were not in a hurry because they took forever to first take our order and second to actually make the orders. There may have been 4 or 5 cars in the drive-thru and sure there were customers inside but they already had their coffee so it shouldn’t be too hard to serve two walk-ins. Only one person was making drinks while everyone else(3 or 4 people) was standing there looking very dazed and confused. We probably waited for a good 15 minutes for the whole process. At least the latte was really yummy so it made up for it… but only a little bit.
