My husband’s favorite place to get beer. The beer are cheaper than any store, and also the cashiers are friendly.

Prices, prices prices. Plaid pantry gets an extra star for great prices on many convenience items. Candy and gum prices at plaid blow every other c-store out of the water. Many items are $ 1.oo or less. My favorite gum Extra peppermint is $.97 for the large pack at Plaid and $ 1.49 at 7 – 11. Theater pack candy for a buck or so and sometime less. Beer and wine sales that are unbelievably good along with great prices on things like my favorite beef jerky(sweet and spicy) for $ 4.49 when its $ 6.49 at 7 – 11 or even Walgreen’s. I could go on but i think you get the picture. They also have low ATM fee’s, I think it is currently $ 1.97 and low cost money orders. The only draw back is the stores always seem too full of stuff so the are harder to get around in than 7 – 11. On the other hand they seem to be selling more of the stuff i buy cause it always seems fresh, i.e. dots that you can actually chew and jerky that is eatable unlike a lot of ma and pa c-stores. Also they need to do something about their coffee area, it tasted way better 5 years ago when they had smaller air pots, I’m not sure why. Overall mostly clean stores with adequate service and awesome prices.
