Plaid Pantry on Glisan Street is a shrug of the shoulder. The adjacent Fred Meyer is inexpensive and almost as easy to get into, with only a medium parking lot in front. This location is a typical convenience store with their beverages, processed food and other stuff. One of Plaid Pantry’s best deals oftentimes is on TJI Friday’s snacks, and here it is only a dollar. There are lots of cars driving up, so sometimes be careful if you are going by foot from the nearby bus stop. Some of the sodas could be a bit cheaper. Unlike 7-Eleven, they lack their own entrees. Still, though Fred Meyer is easy to get to, this Plaid Pantry is something of a tad bit easier. The individuals at the register are very friendly and make good conversation here. Prices on canned good are sometimes more than at Fred Meyer for the same thing, though there are good deals on candy. Plaid Pantry on Glisan is a convenience as is it’s mission to do so.
