Nice to see this pizza joint make the big time at the airport. Genoa is a fan favorite. They move you thru pretty quick for an airport vendor. They have retained the flair of the brand.

How funny. The name. We were starving in the airport. Oh, look, pizza with a NY kinda name, maybe??? No, not even close. Ugh. Doughy, not even hot, seemed maybe old? We chucked it, went next door for lunch, and then ate some of those famous hazelnuts from Portland on the plane. Seems the reviews for the downtown locations are better. Run from this one.

I went here when I flew out of Portland and when I got back in I got to say the pizzas pretty good or your typical pepperoni pizza price was typical they threw it in the oven to warm it up can’t say anything bad I go there again it’s a New York style pizza

This place has a unique brand and style. It’s a good fit for Portland. The pizza is ok. It’s nothing special, but if you are looking for a quick bite it’s an ok option.

The guy that runs this location is awesome … I’m not sure but I think he’s been there for years. Always super nice and makes being at the airport not so much of a bummer. The pizza as always, is amazing. It’s always the first thing I do when I land at pdx. I rush over to his stand and gobble up all the goodies. Keep it up, pizza dude, keep it up :)

For airport pizza, it was good. Quick, hot, tasty. The guys behind the counter were nice and friendly. Great snack before jumping on the plane!

Service is horrible! Pizza is not that great. Not a great combination for success.

Decent stop for a quick bite before or between flights. Stopped in before I left yesterday, almost entirely because a group of Timbers were eating here– of course, they were getting two slices apiece, but the BF and I just shared one. Now, let me preface my review by saying that I haven’t been to any other locations. But the piece I got was good– great dough that was chewy and slightly crisped crust, the way I like it. Sauce could be thicker, but the toppings and cheese were high-quality: we got the genoa salami with ham and pepperoni and olive. Not a favorite flavor combo, but the best of the options available, heated quickly to the perfect temp. Meats were harmonious, cheese was perfectly complementary, that dough, doe! Would stop again if I needed a bite before a flight.

I was at PDX and wanted something quick to eat before my flight. I ordered 1 slice of pepperoni and 1 slice of plain cheeze pizza. I had to wait a few minutes as both pies were in the oven which was fine. The pizza was just OK. 1 step above frozen pizza but definitely not pizza I would get excited about. Bought a small water and the total was $ 8.74

I love Pizza Schmizza, it’s actually one of my favorite by-the-slice places, and I have fond memories coming here with my step-dad and sisters when we were younger. My go-to is the Genoa — pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives, what’s not to like?! I’m at the airport today and stopped by for a quick bite before my flight. This location is NOT up to par. They usually take a slice, and reheat it — that’s normal for many by-the-slice joints. My slice was COLD in some places — very concerning. This location was not nearly as generous with their toppings unlike their counterparts out in Portland proper. The service wasn’t rude, but certainly not friendly or warm either — the place was dead as the airport as a whole is dead today. As much as I love Schmizza, I won’t be returning to this location when I’m at PDX.

Not a bad Margarita pizza EXCEPT for the basil stems. I’m not talking just one that might have been an oversight, but at least three stems on a slice. I don’t get it. Why do that? It’s like they do it on purpose. Who wants to pull stems out of their mouth at the airport or anywhere else for that matter… the germs. BUT, how much can you complain when you can get two slices and a 16 oz drink for under $ 8 bucks at an airport.

For all the tasty and sometimes quirky wonders of Portland cuisine, you would think that PDX could do better food-wise, especially on the Departure Gate side of Security. I often fly Southwest from the far end of Terminal C, and in many ways, it’s the same old same old in terms of refreshments. OK, the bar at the Mexican Bar next door is pretty good and I like PDX’s price controls. However, if you want to taste good Microbrew, Coffee, or even Pizza, this is not the place. My Pizza Schmizza slice was just OK and is this town, it shoulda been a contender.

Mmmm… ash and charcoal… but hey, at least there was a little bit of dough, sauce, and cheese on top of it to add some subtle nuance of flavor. Alas, of the small handful of food purveyors near my gate, it was the best of the bunch and i didn’t have time to go to any of the nicer places in the terminal.

Pizza= poor at best. It had been sitting for a long time, but I was at the airport and needed food. Employees= poor. the girl was ok. but the guy kept making weird comments about how crappy certain movies were and just being a little too obnoxious. Also, holy shit what am I 80? Next i am going to be yelling at kids to get off my lawn. Really though, the whole experience was unsatisfactory.
