I love coming here! First off, friendliest staff you’ll find at any brewery in Portland. That goes a long way for me. Happy hour food is tasty and priced right. I always go for hummus and black bean sliders. The beer here is good enough but doesn’t really stand out by Portland Standards. Still, I appreciate they always have rotating options. Overall, great place to stop by if you’re in the neighborhood, especially given there’s not much else nearby.

This place is cool. The outside is all brick and gives it kind of an old town vibe. We came here to kill time before our flight and each ordered a beer. Since it was Monday we got free fries which was pretty cool. The service was great and the beer was tasty. They have a few different beers to choose from and they vary depending on season. You are able to do a flight if you wanted, $ 2 per tasting. Normal price but we were in the mood to just one beer.

ripsaw red. ripsaw red. ripsaw red. ripsaw red. ripsaw red. ripsaw red. ALL you need to know about his place. I had 6 last night. between the i-5 and i-405 corridor. great fries. awesome backroom. very fair prices. Very cute bartenders :-) Their fries are soooo good. Brought me back to when I helped out my uncle on his IDAHO potato farm. They didn’t have the fancy machines they have now which pull the potatoes out of the ground for you, so we had to manually pull potatoes. With our hands. We made a fun game out of it though, and my brother Ruben would always bring a baseball bat and smash potatoes like he was a Jim McGarr(neighbors grandpa who was a BIGTIME Major League Baseball Player). My Brother was soo annoying sometimes, I wanted to put a potato in his butt! LOL. Sorry for the sidetrack, but that’s what I thought about when I was sitting at the bar in between my 5th and 6th ripsaw red. I’m sure their other beers are just as good. Warning for the senior citizen crowd: They DONOT have a senior citizen menu or beer menu. That’s ok though because I have yet to find a place that offers a SENIOR citizen beer menu. ok talk to you later. with summer coming i will be coming back to sit on the outside chairs. However, it is RIGHT on the street car line, so it may be noisy loud. You can stand or sit at the bar, there is a ramp to enter for disabled. ~Gram Gram McCray

After exploring Portland for the majority of the afternoon, we found our way to old Chinatown hankering for a delicious beer. We saw Pints and thought we would stop in. This is a nice cozy downtown bar with a very good selection of delicious beer, but the true jewel of this establishment is the bartender Tara ! What a breath of fresh air, she was so effervescent and just brightened our entire day! Attentive to all our needs, and an engaging conversationalist. The beer is good but the fifth star is Tara!

Had a flight(5, 3oz pours). Brick House Blonde was delicious. I like that they have a nice variety and not just hop heavy IPAs. I had the blonde, IPA, cascade pale, schwarzbier, and porter. All were tasty. Didn’t try the food, but it looked good. I’ll be back for the beer.

The last 2 times here, the food has gone down hill. The service was even worse. Still love the beers! Will we go back? Nope… sorry, the bums are a turnoff too! We will just find your beers at other locations…

I really like this little brewery situated in the Chinatown neighborhood in Portland! Here I got what seems to be a new beer trend out there. Candy flavored beer. Yeah, I know it sounds weird but if you have a good brewmaster behind these kinds of creations then the world is the limit as to what kind of beer you can put out and have it taste good! The beer I got was a kind of Red Ale and was a limited batch for breast cancer awareness I believe and it had an after taste of the Cinnamon Red Hot Candies or the Hot Tamales you used to get as a kid. The flavor was subtle and wonderful! Since then I have had Lemondrop beer and a Chocolate Peanut Buttercup beer but it all started with PINTS with their Red Hot Red Ale! They should make that a regular selection!

On a weekend trip from CA to Seattle, a group of us decided to drive down to Portland to see Kobe play one of his last games. We got into town pretty early and on the walk from Voodoo Doughnuts to the arena, bumped into Pints. We were looking to drink a few beers before the game, so we stopped in. We were seated at a table in the back, near the brewing equipment. Liked the vibe. It seemed pretty new(or if not, then just really clean). The waitress was friendly and helped us select the right beer from their menu of homemade brews. I had the Seismic Upgrade IPA, which is 8.7%. I’m a little on the petite side, so that glass got the job done pretty quickly lol. We munched on some fries and sliders and ended up killing the 2 ½ hours before the game, just eating, drinking, and catching up with friends. If we lived in the area, we’d definitely go back.

Came here with a group of 6 people, we all thought it was great. The beer and food were great! I was super surprised that this place wasn’t busier. The atmosphere was laid back, décor was cool, and the bartender was nice. Overall great experience and I’ll be back!

I’ve been stopping in here for an after-work porter or stout for a couple years. The staff are wonderful, all the beer is excellent(I usually get the Steel Bridge), the food is artisanal and the interior design is beautiful.

3 star only because I just sat down and ordered a $ 3 beer from my Unilocal app. They make their own beer which I did not know. A couple of tv’s, some food, and whiskey.

Beer selection was good. The bartender was very friendly. I tried the veggie black bean sliders and breakfast tacos, both were great. Fresh and spicy pico. Great french fries with homemade ranch with fresh herbs. Terrific happy hour deal. Will go back again. Paid $ 10 for five –4oz samplers as happy hour Neat looking place and great vibe.

Chill hipster atmosphere. Clean and well ran with classic Portland peeps enjoying brews and bites. Bartender in the AM was soft spoken and sweet making an awesome cup a joe. The afternoon bartender Emily is wicked hot and very knowledgeable in the brews. A must stop when in the PortLand!

Met up with a friend from college here and was blown away by the vibe, food, and beer. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, but this place is definitely worth stopping by to check out. The Steel Bridge stout is great and it’s a not overly crowded place for a fun, down-town brewery. Will definitely be back.

This laid back brewery is a hidden gem in an otherwise overlooked part of town. I stopped in one day and it’s since become a happy hour spot for me and other coworkers as our office is nearby. They’ve got a wide selection of locally made beer(some brewed in house, others are from nearby breweries) and a selection of Oregon whiskeys, which they pair with beer! Atmosphere is relaxed during happy hour, with low key music and sports on the two TV sets. They also serve food. Got two delicious pulled pork sliders and salad tonight, yum!

Pints was really cute. The place was great, the beer was good. Located in China Town, it was a fun dose of the neighborhood. The people were all friendly, and service was good. Our server was Midwestern like us, and we shared memories of our times living in Chicago. He was able to point us in the direction to our next few breweries. If you like smoky beers, get the Whiskey Back Black. You will NOT be disappointed.

Though the space is cool in the way repurposed buildings are(brick walls and a great sliding barn door), the atmosphere was a little too frat-bro for me. There were a couple of obviously(obnoxiously) drunk twenty-somethings dominating the bar area, much to the chagrin of several other patrons. Tolerable if the beer warrants it. It didn’t. All three of the 3 ounce tasting pours were wholly unremarkable. The Cinnayum was interesting only because of the novelty(think cinnamon gummy bear) of it. And the novelty wore off before the three ounces were up. Oi. I didn’t stick around for food. It’s primarily burgers and sandwiches, none of which sounded particularly tasty given the atmosphere.

Excellent food, amazing craft beers, and great service. I think they call that the holy trinity of a great taphouse. I had a bacon cheeseburger and a helles lager(great pair if you ask me) and enjoyed them to the end. Juicy patty cooked medium, crispy bacon, and the best burger bun I’ve had with a side of proper potato french fries. I was lucky enough to stumble in here while waiting for a train, but I hope I have the good fortune of finding myself this way again. If you have a taste for good beer and like a cozy atmosphere then definitely drop by some time. Also, ask for Emily. She was super nice and helped make a simple trip for food to kill time into a great experience.

Pints brew decent beer, but it tastes no where as good as their onion rings. Onion rings. I’ve just started reading on SEO. Onion rings. I look up «best onion rings» in Portland on Unilocal, and… Pints do not show up in the top 10. Onion rings. Which is a SHAME, because Pints have the best onion rings in town. In fact, best onion rings in Seattle AND Portland. Sex: that’s a word to optimize any write-up. Onion rings at Pints are in fact onion rings filled donuts. ONIONRINGSFILLEDDONUTS. They are goooood! Some people here were searching for a sex shop. Aaah… SEO job well done!

When a crowd of 20+ walks in at 10pm and the wait staff smiles and is helpful, you know you done good. Brewery operations in the rear make an excellent backdrop to the super cheap and tasty happy hour snack options. It looks small when you first enter, but go down the hallway for more seating. Happy Hour has an extended food service from 9-close, which is so helpful and yum. Beer and Wine only. Sort of upscale atmosphere, but welcoming.

PINTS is a really cool little small dive bar that had beer tastings that I wanted to go and try. The whole point of me going there was the tray of 5 of those 3oz tasting beer glasses! But they ran out :(sadly I just drank my teeny glasses of beer and watched the Seahawks game! All in all I really loved the atmosphere and the service of the bartender! Really chill place where you can hang out with friends in old chinatown! Parking was easy to find on a Saturday 7 pm night. I will come back and try the other 5 beers I haven’t tried yet! You can’t beat the price! $ 1.50 for 53oz beer tasting ! Great beer! I would love to see the back where they brew these beer someday!

Good service! Low key atmosphere with a front bar area and back restaurant style area. $ 5 onion rings — comes with 5 really oily rings. $ 5 poutine — small, good. $ 1.50 beer sampler — great deal! Okay beer. 10 choices on the menu.
