Fashion forward for women who have a strong sense of who they are. Bold, Euro/​Asian influenced pieces that you could wear head to toe or add to your look for extra cool flare. I love the clothing here. I got my favorite pants EVER at Phys Element… they are forward and classic at the same time. Any age woman can shop here… hipsters (if they can afford it) and your mom too! A good place to pick up unique jewelry or accessories for gifts.

I have been a previous shopper at Physical Element but for some reason had never met Jo the owner. This time, I was on a search for the perfect frock for a party and Jo had just the right dress for me! Jo has a curator’s eye for European style and fashion. It’s not the usual bag of stuff in other department stores or boutiques. If you want to find fashion that expresses your personal style in a unique and beautiful way, visit this store. Every item is of the highest quality which will last for years.

My Mom and I went shopping together for my birthday and this store was the best! I ended up with not only a gorgeous new outfit, but also a pair of beautiful sterling silver bracelets. The sales woman was extremely helpful and the whole experience was very pleasant. If you are looking for some unique fashion at reasonable prices, this is the boutique for you!

Let me start by saying, this store is so beautiful! Jo is a lovely person and her staff is as well. Physical Element is a special store, lucky for Portland. It is Portland friendly, but so carefully curated you could easily be in Paris, New York, Berlin. I feel like I discovered the main gem in the pearl.

I lost a bunch of weight and just randomly popped in here to see if I could fit into the interesting, artsy clothes they have. Jo, the owner, suggested brands and sizes that were spot-​on! In fact, I wound up buying the same thing she was wearing — a long jersey coat-​like-​thing by Rundholz. It was not cheap. But it is well made, timeless, and well worth the money I paid. But best of all, Jo is patient and helpful and she really knows her stuff about boutique clothing. I love this place!

Absolutely love this boutique — Jo, the owner, is down to earth and very friendly — and the clothes are just so unique and beautiful! Very chic but not over the top. It’s pricey, but she has great sales. And the shoes are incredible. I got a pair of boots from a designer in Berlin that are insanely cool and so comfortable! I love going in to see the new styles they have. I love every thing in here!
