We are writing to you to end this debacle of an order. We are asking for a refund of our deposit as the product we ordered has never been delivered and we don’t believe it ever will be. You have not held up your end of the commitment. I have tried for what is getting closer to half a year to be patient for our cabinet and you have never delivered it. We should not have to go through this. I now have to find another cabinet and wait for it. You have caused us a great deal of trouble. It should not take this long for one piece of furniture. This whole ordeal is just astounding. I continually am the one reaching out to EWF as the communication from EWF has sorely lacked and only to be put off again and again. Promised that it is going to be complete but never is. We are tired of waiting and want our money back so we can order from someone who will deliver on their honest word. This is very poor business practices. I would never treat my client like this. Not only are you off by months on your timing but not once in my communications has anyone offered to make this right. We continually are promised that our cabinet will arrive. It never does. Once again you said I would be contacted this week and once again I did not receive a call and our cabinet does not yet seem to exist. Something fishy is going on. You missed an important delivery date for us long ago and yet we tried to be understanding. No one did anything to make this right and our item has still never been delivered. Please refund our money immediately. Please send us confirmation from your end.

We found a light fixture here that we liked and were told that it was ‘custom made’ and therefore no returns. It would also take two weeks to make. It took three weeks for the store to get it (it languished for a week in their ‘warehouse’) only to learn it was the wrong fixture. We were then told that they had to check with the manufacturer to see if the correct fixture was in stock (after being first told it was a custom made fixture) and they would get back to us.
30 seconds on Google showed that this custom light fixture was, in fact, mass produced and available from Home Depot of all places (who honors returns if its damaged or doesn’t work) and we got it in two weeks. We cancelled our order with EWF. It was only AFTER we cancelled our order and I called them out on the misinformation that they came clean (there were other issues with the purchase that they were not forthcoming about).
While the staff may be friendly, I think its improper to characterize something as ‘custom made’ when in fact its mass produced. Since this debacle, I have seen a number of things in their store for sale on other websites and even in other stores in the Pearl.
And, to top it off, I am receiving spam from them now. Originally, I was going to let sleeping dogs lie but this was the last straw.

I’ve been a big fan of Renee Russo for years and she never disappoints. I loved her EW Fusion boutique and the EWF Modern is even better. She and her staff have GREAT taste and super yummy furniture. I have one of her coffee tables and I LOVE it — always get compliments. I love the accessories too — a great place to shop for unique gifts!

Having a store full of nice furniture and decorative items does not make up for lack of customer service. Apparently, not too interested in following up with potentials buyers. Warning bells should have gone off when she asked if this was «within my price range» when I was leaving my info.

Beautiful stuff. Nice people. But the hype isn’t entirely true. The door may say «organic and sustainable» though the tag could well read «Made in China.»
When the slipcover I ordered finally arrived — almost a month late — it was crumbled up, wadded into a sack and horribly wrinkled.
If it’s organic and sustainable you really want, look closely. If quality is a concern, look elsewhere.
