This is a smaller library, but it is really nice. My son really enjoyed coming here. The staff was really helpful and friendly.

Honolulu, HI
Albina County Library should be called a community library. It favors the needs of the area around it. There is an extensive music and DVD selection on the right hand side. You get the feeling that the place is engineered for children. There is a large selection of children’s literature set next to the door. You cannot miss it.
I want to commend the place for its staff. The staff are always attentive and it’s always nice to have someone to help you out. The quick slide to automation — i.e. the self check out line — does make the entire library system one and a half light year away from the other library systems that I have been to.

So… I come here about twice a week primarily to return and check out books. However, whenever I’ve needed help with something, staff is always readily available, super friendly, and most importantly, helpful. The staff here are great, making the library a welcoming place. They also have a good selection of magazines that I like to peruse occasionally if I can find a seat and have time.

This is a very tiny but adorable library. The staff is super nice. Though the selection is small you can place holds for whatever you want and have them sent there.
It’s also right next to a whole foods and half a block away from Caffe Destino. I love that I can so conveniently check out a book and then go eat lunch or have coffee while I read.

This is a great neighborhood branch of the Multnomah County Library system. It’s located in the same building as the Fremont Whole Foods, so you can get your grocery shopping done at the same time. There is a nice row of self-​check machines, but there is almost always staff standing by to help you should you need guidance.
Although the selection is small, it’s also very diverse and, if I look hard enough, I’m always able to find something just by browsing.

This cute little branch of the Multnomah public library system is fantastic — great neighborhood location! I love that it is right next to Whole Foods, I can buy groceries after picking up my holds.
It always has a great selection of Cd’s as well. I am always finding unexpected music that I want to listen to but refuse to buy/​download.
Be careful when you go. If you stop in when between 3 and 5, when school is out, the little branch can be full of teenagers and little kids. Although it is great to see young-​ins at the library, it can get to be a bit overwhelming (and the wait to use the Internet can be a bit ridiculous).
Overall, the staff is top notch and the location is great!

I LOVE libraries. This is one tiny branch of the famous Mult. Co. Lib. system. NICE staff.
The idea of free public libraries is one of the best in America. I request lots of books online and chose this one near my house for my pickup place because it is small, I can get in/​out quickly and if pressed can go to the food store next door to grab milk, eggs. dinner, whatever.
Did I tell you how much I LOVE BOOKS and libraries? oh, and DVDs and music too. all for free.
