Wow! Just wow! I thought I had to go to Italy for a selection like this!
Moods of Florence is right up a fashionista’s alley.
From beautiful fitted Italian dresses to amazing prints and long cozy sweaters and leather bags. And the jewelry, yes, yes, yes.
I bought 2 dresses and a genuine leather bag I can’t get enough of.
The owner Lynn personally goes to Italy to pick up these gems. Saves me the trip! 5 stars all the way!

I stopped in earlier this week on my day off after reading Tamara C’s review of this charming shop. Without that review, I possibly would not have even noticed that Moods of Florence existed. It was a little difficult to find the front door, but once I entered I was sort of «taken away» on a little mental vacation to Italy. The owner was lovely, telling me all about their 50% off summer clearance sale, and we talked about that and her other items. The handbags are super-​stylish, and I loved the scarves. While it is a summer clearance sale, the items are very usable throughout the year. The jewelry is of good quality and would make great gifts for any occasion. There is a rack (along with a couple of mannequins dressed up) in some very pretty dresses that I’ve not seen anywhere else in downtown. All in all, my payday is coming up shortly, so I do plan to come back for a scarf and perhaps a piece of jewelry. It’s great to have a shop like this downtown for friend-​gifting and self-​gifting!

Moods of Florence is a nice little accessory store that seems to cater to the fun side of high European fashion, full of handbags, fragrances, jewelry and trinkets and other little items of the sort that my girlfriend really likes. It’s a little bit different than any other store I’ve been in. The first thing that always hits me when I walk in is that it’s filled with colors and shapes you don’t see in a lot of other spots, especially around Portland. Unique combinations, bright stuff, elegant. It’s fun just to pop in every once in a while to see what’s new; it’s always changing.
Last time I was in, Lynn, the super-​sweet owner of the store, helped me wrap up a really cute red bag with a gold chain charm thing for my girlfriend’s birthday. It was on sale– double win. My girlfriend won’t stop carrying it around so I think we must have done something right.

I love this cute little place, what a hidden gem in plain sight on Broadway. I feel like I’m in a cool shop in Italy. So many possibilities and finds. They have small leather goods and accessories, an amazing bag selection, as well as cool different clothing options. Everything seems hand selected and tells a story. I get many gift’s here for family and friends, always a hit. I recommend you stop by, and say Hi to Lynn.

Those purses! Mio Dio!
At first I walked slowly past whilst gazing lovingly at a stunning black bag in the window. «What the hell» I thought; just a peek won’t hurt.
This is a very chic little boutique. The aroma from the finely crafted Italian purses wooed me. Seriously, I was swooning. I was also hungry. But those bags! And guess what people. They are moderately priced. The bag I was shamelessly ogling was $ 195.00. Not inexpensive by any means but for quality workmanship, I’d say that’s reasonable.
Besides the divine bags, there is some really unique jewelry. Don’t tell Oscar but I bought him a present. A black, furry cuff with a big, fat jewel in the centre. It will fit him perfectly. If not, I’ll wear it.
In addition to the bags and jewelry, there are oodles of really cute tee-​shirts, funky shirts and scarves galore. All very Euro. I would have loved one of the fleur-​de-​lis tees but they were freakishly small. If you are freakishly small go buy one. They’re on sale for $ 20.00.

I have been to Moods of Florence multiple times and find Lynn to be a very knowledgable person who has amazing taste in fashion. She is very easy to talk to and will take the time to make sure that all your questions are answered. The store is always very well organized easy to browse. Lynn visits Italy frequently so you know you will find the highest quality Italian Leather products. I would recommend checking our Moods of Florence if you are in Downtown Portland!
