Lotus Express

Fresh and inexpensive. Kung pao chicken is a must! The veggies are always cooked perfectly. General tsos chicken could be better quality but the sauce is unbelievable. For mall Chinese this place is pretty damn amazing.

I happened to be at Lloyd Center at dinnertime so I walked around and checked out all the options in the food court. Lotus Express was my choice for tonight because I was impressed with the abundance of broccoli in their tray of beef broccoli. I’m partial towards broccoli because it’s a SUPERFOOD loaded with nutrients. Anyway, I picked beef broccoli as my entrée along with lo mein as a side dish. One entrée with one side dish is $ 6.35 here. Unlike the beef broccoli at most other places, Lotus Express had other veggies in their version too. The sliced celery and carrots were a nice touch. Well, OK, the beef in it was kind of chewy, but I didn’t mind because I didn’t eat much of the beef anyway since I chose this entrée solely for the broccoli. I was satisfied with my meal. For «mall food», it was fresh and tasty.. .and I got a LOT of food for $ 6.35 so it was a good value.
