This place is legit. If you don’t like the service, go somewhere else. The family that owns and operates it is super sweet and friendly. Real DF style!

The gordita’s are awesome! The people running this place really do a great job and treat everyone very well. Don’t miss out on some good Mexican food!

As rude as can be for the non Spanish speaker and the food is trash. Ordered a Pastor Burrito and Breakfast. Everything inside was burnt except for the raw uncooked vegetables. Go to Rosita’s on 82nd. Far better!

Best cultural Hispanic food cart I’ve been to in SE. Highly recommend this place. If you can’t decide on what you want, you can’t go wrong with a keka.

If you love tortas this is the place for you! Best torta I have ever had in Portland. Same pricing as most Mexican spots but way more delicious ! I gave 4 stars because I didn’t not pick up the food so I can’t rate the service.

Parking is a little sketchy as you have to park in the same lot as the auto repair. Really good tacos, usually made fresh. Pretty consistent. I get the steak tacos.

Pretty much as authentic as you are going to find both in flavors and price. Delicious and cheap.

This place is depressing, a food truck attached to the side of a tienda with some hammered wood and fiberglass panels on a dusty, pitted-out corner off SE82nd(also wishfully known as the«Avenue of Roses»). To order and receive food you shout up into a black hole where the cooks are. No hello, thank you, etc. Following the advice of the recent WW Cheap Eats, I headed straight for the torta Cubana, which at the time of publication was $ 9, but which had magically increased to $ 11.(What is the Spanish word for«price-gouging?) It was so-so. They could have cared less whether I was there or not… very brusque during a very quiet time. Never again.

Consistent, authentic Mexican food. They seem to be THE place for tortas, however I’ve had their tacos and burritos instead. Both were outstanding and great values. Tortas are next! Update: I’ve been back twice for the Tortas and they are the best in town, hands down. As I live a short walk away, whenever I get a hankering for some legit Mexican food, this is my go-to place. I’ve been welcomed with a smile and a hello every time I’ve gone in there.

This is my favorite food truck in the area. It’s an oasis in the cultural desert of The Track. I mean that literally. Last Saturday night I went with my daughter. As we walked up, two drunks were in the middle of 82nd yelling gibberish. I quickly led my daughter inside Los Alambres’ homemade shed. Inside it’s cozy and quiet, like a grubby little clubhouse. That doesn’t sound appealing, but I’m reviewing them because they make the best tortas I’ve ever had. The best! Whenever I get a torta I think, «There’s no way I can eat all of this.» But then I do. I also know their tacos and burritos are legit. Besides that, the only things I want to add to the previous reviews are: 1) parking is almost non-existent on SE Taylor Ct, and 2) the cooks don’t really know English. I think they get by because I rarely see non-Hispanics eating there. So if you order in English and they don’t have what you want, they might just make you something they think you will like. And you WILL like it, but just practice your Spanish, gringos. Also double-check their math. One time they tried to give me an extra dollar in change.

Los Alambres bright colors distinguishes what is only a food truck in a landscape dominated by car dealerships and billboards. The cart is adjacent to a large and fun-filled Latin store, being only the beginning of it’s authenticity. When you get order, you will notice a large selection of tortas, tacos, burritos and more. I have had their torta cubans milanese and it was good. This time I was less traditional and so I ordered a burrito. Like with last time, it took at least fifteen minutes. Also like last time, the price was reasonable. When my burrito came, it was well-wrapped, so it could be very portable. It tasted very good and the flavor was complex. It wasn’t the best, but it was worthy of my attention. The portions were on the better side of average. Ultimately, this place faces competition. It’s tough to be a taqueria on 82nd because there’s so many other ones. There are some that are a little faster and a little better very closely. But if you are looking for a taqueria on a much more macro picture, you will be exceedingly impressed.

Legit tacos. I wish this place was over in northeast where the counter person will often ask if you want lettuce and tomatoes and I want to weep…

Perhaps the best Mexican food in this neighborhood and definitely up there as far as Portland goes. Their tortas and tacos are fantastic.

This is basically a food truck with a small covered seating area, semi-attached to a panaderia on 82nd. I get lunch from here every week. Everything I’ve had has been EXCELLENT, and good value for the money — the tortas can be in the $ 7 to $ 10 range, but a pambazo is only $ 3.50. They make their own jamaica(hibiscus drink) but it’s not always listed on the menu, so ask. On Fridays there are sometimes tacos de canasta on request — they are tiny and slippery but delicious. Recommended.

Tried this place last weekend — excellent tortas! The bread is very fresh(they are parked in front of a bakery) and has a slight sweetness. The ingredients are equally fresh and flavorful. They make their own red and green salsas too and they’re quite tasty. It has a covered seating area. Will be back!

Located in the parking lot of Panaderia(bakery) «5 de Mayo», right on the corner of 82nd and SE Taylor Ct. The owners(Antonio and Brian Hernandez) told us they’ll start doing business under their real name soon. You can’t miss them, they are the only food truck there. Anyway! Stop what you are doing, seriously, the have the best tacos and burritos ALPASTOR I have had in the last 19 years living in the USA. I was born and raised in Mexico, so I know what I am talking about(trust the Mexi). We had our fill of tacos and burritos and we even brought some home… Even now I could go back for more but I am afraid of what the scale will say afterwards. At this point you need to wash all those burritos down with horchata. Please do. DOIT. It’s horchata with a coconutty flavor. It’s delicious. Thank me later, or better yet, thank those guys later, they deserve it. I asked them about the amazing al pastor flavor and they said it’s «authentic Mexico City style». I vote for that. Twice.
