Matt the barber here has been cutting my husband’s hair for years and he also cuts our boys’ hair… he is an excellent barber and always does a great job at a reasonable price! He is very busy though because of his loyal clientele… so you will need to book in advance and/​or be flexible.

I bought the $ 32 groupon for $ 80 conditioning treatment package that included a hair cut with Heather. I was very reluctant after reading the previous review. I had Heather just do the basics, no layers, no razoring, no bang trim along with the conditioning treatment. It was OK. She’s very nice and means well, but needs some improvement with her skills. I asked for a specific amount of hair to be cut off and it ended up being triple that and I know that for sure because she missed a couple sections of hair that I had to trim up once I got home and could see how much more was cut off. All in all, I don’t think I’ll be going back. It was NOT a horrible experience at all and she most definitely did not ruin my hair. I just don’t feel like we were the best fit for stylist/​customer. The conditioning treatment did make my hair feel nice and soft though.

Sitting in her chair was very familiar, like when I was 16 and I’d have my friend color my hair.
She put in highlights, just slapping the color on, not even brushing my hair, not once! No foils, no separations, just slathering it on in random chunks.
The cut consisted of just razoring, again, never brushing my hair! I’m not sure she owns a brush or a pair of scissors!
I highly doubt she ever went to school or has any training in the field whatsoever.
I left looking like calico cat.
I immediately went to another salon where it took 3 hours and 2 separate colorings to fix what she so severely messed up.

Went in as a new client for a cut & color. Left a happy plan to come back patron. Tammy is the stylist I went to. She keeps the conversation lively, her rates are reasonable & she’s good! She won’t be at this location for long but I plan on following. Definitely recommend.
