This place would have been cool if the barista didn’t insist on playing kid rock and Bön jovi almost exclusively, the bathrooms were clean and the food tasted like anything other than the underside of a wet box of lettuce. But at least the coffee was lukewarm and overpriced! Would definitely recommend this spot to my pet rock!

This is a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat solo or with a friend. The breakfast bagels are delicious, as is their acai bowl (even better when you add peanut butter, which they will do for no extra charge). If you find yourself on Alberta and in need of a pick me up without absurdly long lines, check this place out.

There black coffee is good! That’s all I have tried there but if there black is good, there other MUST be delicious! They have panini and bagels so I’ll definitely have to come back for breakfast/​lunch! Awesome setting for small talks, studying or work like things on your laptop! A few outside tables and chairs for those sunny days!

I love this place. I used to live right down the street so I would stop in on my way to work. Bob is usually always there and is always friendly. I would come often enough that he would know what I was going to get before I would even say anything, nothing makes you feel more comfortable in a café than that! Sadly, I don’t live within walking distance anymore but if I’m ever on Alberta, I will make sure to stop it.

Friendliest place on Alberta. Truly. Bob is usually present and greeting everyone, the barista’s are engaging and accommodating.
You can change anything on the menu to your preference and they will make it happen.
The RIO Bowl is my favorite and I’ve introduced it to many friends who all love it now also. Add some peanut butter for protein or get it dairy free. It’s a great breakfast alternative.
Egg sandwiches and scrambles are delicious. I haven’t tried the waffles yet, but they look and smell wonderful as they go by.
My only critique is the couple of baked goods I’ve tried there are dry and not flavorful; I don’t need them anyway.
Really welcoming, laid back atmosphere. I love it here.

Loved this place. My coworker and me were walking past so we stopped in. Very nice people. The husband and wife were both very sweet. Didn’t really try any food besides their bagel chips they were very good and I had two awesome drinks. They are definitely a awesome couple. We talked about work, school, and our families. They will definitely have you coming back. I’m most definitely going back to try their bagels.

I love this café. It used to be Anna Banana’s, which I enjoyed and frequented. It’s basically the same café with a different name and better wall colors/​improved décor. The owner, Bob Chang, is really warm and friendly. I always feel welcome here. The baristas are super friendly too. They’re not cold and icy or trying to be too cool to talk to you like at some other places.
It’s cozy and usually pretty quiet, but not so quiet that it’s weird. I go here to enjoy a latte and read by myself. I advise getting food elsewhere because the food menu is slim.

This place is really chill. I think I speak for many people when I say that sometimes you just need to sit in a comfey couch. I mean, am I right? I didn’t try any of their coffee or food. I just had black tea, which was good. I’ll definitely be back for a beer or coffee. It’s just a really comfortable environment.

I’ve walked past this place many times but never actually gone inside. This morning I finally did, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
The atmosphere is very comforting, and it made me want to keep coming back just to hang out. I had an iced latte that was on the dot. I ordered the Lox scramble which consisted of salmon, capers and cream cheese, and it was absolutely delightful! Their menu is simple but also enough for a quick breakfast with your coffee.
I was very happy with this place. Will definitely come back again, especially since I only live a couple blocks away!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was our first time there, we took a look at the menu from the outside, which was a more simplified menu than the one up on the chalkboard, inside (or at least I thought so). The atmosphere is warm and hip, great place to chill, do work, chat, over a cup of coffee etc. Nonetheless, the food was simple, but tasty. Great bagles and eggs café for your breakfast fix. The price is perfect for the amount of food they serve. Their coffee is pretty great also! I had the «Anna B» 2 eggs scramble, and I would definitely get it again! Thanks for the welcoming, and amazing service!
