Jon Pearson Remodeling and Construction

Of all the contractors I initially contacted for our job, Jon was finally the one answered phone calls and showed up! He seems to know his stuff and was very courteous and straightforward. He had great ideas. However, when it came time to show us a bid, he fell off the face of the earth and stopped answering any emails. I think he was intimidated by the budget we gave him, and instead of negotiating with us and telling us what a reasonable budget might actually be, he just walked away without another word. I waited for over a month to hear back from him before I finally gave up and started the entire dang process all over again! Jon, our budget WAS bigger, you just lost yourself the job because you weren’t willing to negotiate, and the lack of communication was really a kick in the teeth. You were referred to me by our real estate agent, and I’ll definitely let her know.

I purchased a Living Social for Jon Pearson’s company. Due to the LS offer he has been extremely busy and so it was a bit difficult to schedule. However, when my eagerly-​awaited day arrived, Jon arrived 10 to 15 minutes early, instead of late. He was quite courteous and friendly, but the real WOW! came when I found that he was so fast that I didn’t have enough work lined up for the 2 hours I had with him. I mean, I would ask, «Do you still have time to put in the vacuum?» and he would say I already got that finished. Amazing! The first task I asked Jon to do was install baseboards and blinds in a bedroom. That took about 20 to 30 minutes. While here, besides the blinds and baseboards, he moved several items of furniture into the living room, and into a garage or driveway through a narrow hallway and down some stairs, he installed a vacuum, changed some light bulbs in a chandelier, and more. I just wish I had been better prepared, with more work lined up. I had no idea how much he could accomplish in two hours. That said, I certainly feel that I got my money’s worth and then some. His work seems to be excellent, he was very professional and open to whatever I could dig up for him to do. I am so impressed and highly recommend him for about anything. His website indicates that he performs all sorts of home services from handyman and maintenance to construction and remodeling and even design and colour consultation. Given his great performance today I would guess that he would perform any of these services admirably. Thanks, Jon!

I found Jon through Living social as well. We rescheduled a couple of times and he was courteous throughout the whole thing. He arrived on time and promptly got to work. He was really efficient. I only lined up two things for him to do in the two hours and he was done so quickly, I pulled out my «honey do» list. In two hours, he replaced a fence post, tweaked my disposal to get it work, replaced a downed section of roof gutter, removed the painters tape I left around two windows for about two years now, hung a full length 50 pound mirror, installed my bike rack (gave my riding tips!!). Everything else, he left me with great instructions for when I got my supplies together. I will definitely use him again and I do recommend him. He is personable and friendly and has no creep factor at all. I had no problem letting him in my home.
