Like Don B said, this place is a shithole. Their stuff is way overpriced and the people who run it are rude. I watched a paying customer sit down at one of their tables to enjoy his tea he had just purchased and when he plugged in his phone to charge it, the owner told him«No» and made him unplug it. Just rude. I can’t imagine ever treating one of my customers this way. We wouldn’t stay in business for long, that’s for sure.

In many ways, a typical friendly family run store, this place has way more space than it knows what to do with, it was probably a full service supermarket back in the 60s. They have a good selection of beverages, snacks, lighters that look like guns, etc… In the corner is a little deli, and some seating that is always empty. One thing though, there are no bike racks, I had to hitch my bike to a street sign. I wouldn’t even bring it up, but it is located right off the Springwater trail, and I would imagine this place generates some bike traffic. Might be a good idea, just sayin.

This market is kind of a shithole but they have a walk-in beer cooler and a pretty decent selection of beverages beyond the standard pepsi, coke, and gatorade offerings. Also, they rock a pretty big selection of air guns, knives, brass knuckles, du-rags, «Busted» magazine(«Only #1! See who’s been busted recently!») and other assorted randomness. It’s funny to look at this stuff while eating a burrito with amazing salsa from Giovanni’s.

Dig seep into your pockets Eastmoreland beer lovers… This is a great solution to the usual junk found at your usual local corner convenience store. If there is one thing I am a total sucker for, its a walk in beer cooler! J.C.M. has one that is fairly substantial. It is divided into two sections; the main section that greets you when you first walk through the swinging cooler door is the cheaper section. Then there is the room to the right — the money bags room. In this smaller room you have such gems as Ninkasi, Stone’s Vertical Epic, or even a fave of mine — Laughing Dog from Sand Point, ID. This place can also satisfy your convenience store needs and if you are the courageous adventurer in the world of questionable cuisine you can take your chances on the mexican /italian food in the mexican /italian counter inside the store. Subleasing. Yum.

«This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy took some beer home, this little piggy enjoyed it with steak of beef, while this little piggy had fun, and THIS little piggy said „wee-wee-wee“ all night long…» Last night was a balancing act, juggling visits, chores and entertaining into one Wednesday evening. As a barbeque was on the agenda, a quickie stop at the quickie mart was in order for some adult beverages. Johnson Creek market has become a go-to destination for picking up beer; they have a very large walk in cooler containing a large and impressive selection of brews. Employees are always friendly and welcome you with a warm smile. The store itself is large, almost too large for the amount of products available.
