House Spirits

A local distillery kiosk in the airport? I must be in PDX. Yup. And I have to Unilocal about it.
I’m a huge fan of House Spirits’ product. From the aquavit to the gin to the short-​run stuff like rum, ouzo, shochu, etc. I’ve been drinking these spirits for years. And now, if I ever have the need, I can grab a bottle on the go and take it with me wherever I wander. Because there’s a kiosk at the airport!
This little setup is across from D1 in the PDX airport and they sell their main lines of Aviation Gin, Volstead Vodka, Westward Whiskey, Krogstad Aquavit and more. You can score cool gifts like Jeffrey Morganthaler’s bar book, as well as shakers, bar tools, mixers, etc. It’s a bursting bevy of booze-​related stuff. And on most days they offer tastings for free! Need a mini cocktail before your flight? Head on over!
As an added bonus, there’s usually live music right in front of the kiosk. So you get a show with your tasters.
Have a good flight, and don’t forget to bring your hosts a little gift when you come.
