The donuts were cold, if I wanted a cold donut I’d go to the grocery store for a pack. I expected there to be at least a rudimentary heater in the display. There was an kid obviously younger than 10 in an apron sweeping the shop up. I understand if it’s a family business but it was a little strange seeing a child cleaning up shop in the middle of the night. As for the flavor. very generic. can get the same quality for cheaper at fred meyer’s down the street. Would not recommend stopping in but at least it’s a short walk away from some of the local bars.

Only NoPo doughnut shop. Been 6 times in the past year and a half. Delicious Doughnuts, Terrible Attitude from the employees. Acting rude and put upon. One time the lady sighed/scoffed at me while I was choosing. With my kid. We were the only people in there. It gets worse… You MUST count your dozen doughnuts, as they will inevitably short you. Every time. I had to ask 3 times on my last visit and ultimately demand that the 14 count in the«heavenly dozen» actually add up to 14. God forbid you ask to upgrade one to a fritter. Like the sign offers. And the price changes according to the mood of the surly employee(s). It’s kind of a miserable experience. But then you get to eat doughnuts.

Open 24 hours went in at 10:30 and was met with«I’m tired». Buck up chum! Donut was fine I would say. Coffee is strong and terrible, I loved it.

This place was cheep and cool, a traditional old donut shop. I went with a friend he got coffee, said it was good and black but not bitter. I tried a few donuts and they were pretty good so were the fritters.

This place used to be a Winchell’s, you can tell by the iconic triangular yellow sign, except this place has blacked-out the donut and coffee cup(or whatever it is). Nothing too special about this place. I ordered a maple bar, but when I got home I realized I had an apple fritter, it was really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There was a communication breakdown so next time I’ll check and make sure I get what I ordered.
