Andrea is awesome! She is super friendly. I loved my trim and layers. Then, she gave me the best blowout I’ve ever gotten. I am definitely going back!

I actually learned about Ray through Unilocal!I booked an appointment with another salon and showed up for the appointment only to find their doors closed. What a disappointment. I looked on Unilocal for a nearby salon and found Rays’ good reviews and called her. She answered right away and said she could take me in the next day or two — as her salon was closed. From the minute I arrived, Ray was gracious and kind, funny and welcoming. She only takes cash (which may seem inconvenient but it’s far from it. She has great prices and honestly should be charging more for how good she is). I told her that I wanted highlights but no one had been able to do them because of a terrible (and I mean terrible) dye job six months earlier. My whole head had been dyed bright red (on dark hair) and the dye job was so bad that there were patches on my roots that were brighter than others. My hair is black so you can imagine these fire red hair spots in various places. The red also coated my hair for months and various hair stylists all refused/“advised” me to not begin the process of highlighting it, as I desired. It was frustrating. Hair stylist after hair stylist told me that I «wouldn’t be able to highlight» my hair until the red grew out and most quoted six months as the time I would be able to «start». This was until Ray came to my hair. She said she was cautious about highlighting it but knew she could do it as long as I had the time to test the hair and make sure the color was what I wanted and she approved of the results — she definitely takes pride in her work. She took FOUR hours that night to perfect my hair. Not only was she able to highlight it, she was able to restore it’s’ shine, repair the color damage and make it look naturally colored without any brassiness or damage. Even better, she text me a day or two later to check in on the color and when I told her I wanted one or two gray hairs highlighted more she was more than accommodating and invited me back in the next day at no cost. I love my hair, have received so many compliments and would recommend her to anyone! I’m not letting anyone else touch my hair again!
