My boyfriend and I go here every week. He’s a meat eater and I’m vegan. Joe makes the best vegan pizza in Portland by far. My boyfriend even loves it. His calzones are two meals in one and delicious as well(vegan and non-vegan). He also makes awesome fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies.

Nice owner, great pod, but without exaggeration, the worst pizza slice I’ve tried out of many in Portland.

Joe and his friends make one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had in Portland! Here’s why: The toppings are generously piled on(and don’t topple off onto your lap while you’re chowing down), the sauce isn’t overpowering but not skimped on, the crust is delicious to the last bite, and the melty mozzarella-style cheese(Daiya, I believe) is the closest thing I know of to the real stuff. Factor in the convenient location(just five blocks from my home), the ability to phone in an order when they’re not super busy, and the amazingly affordable price(under $ 20 for their large and even cheaper if you use a Chinook book coupon), this place immediately became my favorite pizza joint! Take it from me: Go often and go home happy!

Cornucopia Joe’s has the distinction of serving the worst slice of pizza I’ve had in Portland. Imagine 4th grade lunch, the cafeteria pizza squares? Those slices were better than what I’ve had here. Their smoothie selection looks far more promising. Otherwise, splurge and order from the comperably delicious Little Ceasar’s…

Finally, really good pizza that doesn’t cost $ 30! And it’s in Beth’s backyard. Go Joe! Here’s what I like: Bought a vegan pizza for $ 12 that was LOADED with fresh veggies and veggie sausage and it easily fed myself and half-time vegan girlfriend — those who’ve seen my pecks know this is a tall order. Now, I could have got the same size non-vegan for $ 10! Totally the best bang for your buck when it comes to quality pizza and I didn’t have to wait an hour even on a busy day. I also enjoyed the«mystery» aspect of the toppings. Seems to Beth that I got a whole lot more than what was listed, like they just top it with whatever they have that day from the farm. Guys running the place we’re really nice, but I’d have appreciated a less folksy answer when I asked how big the pizzas are — small, medium, and large doesn’t tell me a lot. I was told«big, as big as this truck.» Okay, I’ll take a medium. Though I ordered right with the medium, had I been given a number I would have gone for the biggest. Beth Willie is very literal and doesn’t really like to «rap.» Still — support these guys.

Slice of pizza(equal to two slices), a salad and drink for $ 5! Sold! I havge eaten here twice and love the pizza and salad. They also make fresh smoothies and corn on the cob sometimes too. Father and son run it and are very nice. The last review said there pizza wasn’t fresh, but mine was. Infact, when I ordered a hawaiian style pizza… they cracked open a fresh pineapple right infront of me and cut it up and put it on the pizza. I like this place!
