Center Commons Apt

Center Commons is actually 3 buildings. One is for seniors, one for families, and one for people generally in their 20−30s. All are low-​income housing. I have Section 8. I live in the senior building and can only comment on it. I’ve lived here 8 years and really love it. I have had no significant problems. The neighbors are nice, friendly but not pushy, the managers are capable and keep things running. If I call for a repair, it’s usually done just fine on the same day. If it’s something terrible, like one time only, a stopped toilet or sink, they are there within minutes. The grounds are very well kept, garbage and recycling generally taken care of in a timely manner. I like that we have a garbage chute and recycling room, so all that is not in the yard somewhere. My apartment, which is on the commons side and not the freeway side, is very quiet. Apartments on the freeway side are quiet in winter, but in summer there is fwy noise if you open the windows. A lot of people love the freeway side because they like to watch the trains and the max. I like the commons side because it’s green and there are lots of trees and kids from the family building playing on nice days.
