Hands down the best food in Portland! Family owned and operated. Fresh food daily, so don’t be mad if they run out of something, just get there earlier next time! Kenya and Roberto are the best!

The portions are on the small side for the price you pay. We were there fairly early and the place was not crowded yet the service was pretty slow… which would have been fine if they would have some chips or something to munch on while waiting for our food. Also we were there yesterday and a sign on the door states they cannot serve liquor or beer currently due to lack of liquor license. The chicken in my chicken nachos was very overcooked and dry, and the cheese tasted like it came from a can(what there was of it). I have no idea where the table cloths, cloth napkins and fresh flowers went that you see in the photos but I didn’t seen any. Yeah the view was nice.

Great location. Loved the view and the food. It was a little hard to find tucked around back, or should I say in the outdoor center, of a industrial building. Better signage would help. This would be a good place to take relatives in town for breakfast or summer lunch.

My usual breakfast spot was full up on Veterans Day, so I had to find something else. This place was a little tough to find, but I’m thrilled that I did. Plenty of seating and great food. Loved the eclectic music selection as well. I will definitely be back!

Great place for a Lomo Saltado and pisco sour! Friendly service, nice view of the bridge and fresh food. The Lomo Saltado hit the spot. Will be going back.

Had an excellent brunch here. Great food, price, and a fantastic view of the bridge even on a rainy day like today. Service was fantastic and I am very much looking forward to going again!

Just had lunch @ Cathedral Park Kitchen with my friend Joslyn. I ordered the Veggie Saltado, which was outstanding. From the menu: $ 11 Asparagus, brussel sprouts, and broccoli with soy sauce, garlic, aji amarillo, red onions, tomatoes and cilantro served with a side of yucca fries and rice. I gave Joslyn a bite or two and she loved it so much that she got an order to go for her dinner.

The menu was varied. We ordered yucca fries that were outstanding. The sauce was the perfect accompaniment. My husband ordered the chicken saltado plate, Our grandson had the chicken pesto melt, and I had the chicken and enchiladas with salsa verde. We all loved our meals and were very impressed. I also had the Cock and Bull ginger beer which was sharp and sweet… Yummy. We particularly came for the view of the bridge and would definitely come back for the food and the view. There was original artwork on the wall — pleasant décor. The background music was excellent and the waitstaff friendly and just the right amount attentive.

I love this place. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I order something new. The strange orange facility is hard to spot, once inside the view of the St. John’s Bridge and tree line is spectacular. The service is pleasant, a smily hispanic man usually greats me with a warm and respectful ‘hello’. I enjoy this. Breakfast The savory german pancake is amazing and not so much a pancake, but a hearty breakfast pastry. Lunch Chicken Nachos are incredible. The chicken, so I’m told, is marinated over night. I’m hard-pressed finding better nachos anywhere. Eat them. Dinner Steak. Perfectly cooked with asparagus and mashed yucca. Also many margaritas. I left happy for a couple reason, the first being the food. I just can’t tell you how much I like this weird orange building, so I’ll stop.

Great food, great prices, and you’ve gotta try the yucca fries! Staff was very friendly. Only minor issue is the drinks from the drink menu are very sweet. Oh, and great views especially at sunset!

We just discovered this GEM of a restaurant this week, so yummy with a beautiful view! I’ve only done breaky there, so I don’t know about the dinner menu, but if the breakfast is any indication we are in for a treat :)

Go for the view and drinks, not the food. While I would rate the food a perfectly average 3 stars, the beautiful view from the patio and friendly and prompt service makes it a solid 4. My only suggestion is that they invest in a little advertising and please, please upgrade that hand painted sign at the corner of Edison and Baltimore.

First time trying this place. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside — clean, nothing fancy but more than adequate. Simple menu. Two of us ordered a sandwich to share(we had just grazed our way through the market in town) and when the very friendly server brought it out, it had already been cut in half and on separate plates! The good: the place was very clean, the food delicious and the service was very professional and courteous. The only things I would mention is that the service was slow, with very few patrons but her demeanor made up for the slowness and we weren’t in a hurry anyway. And they were out of french fries but the rosemary potatoes were a yummy substitute. I’d absolutely go back.

First impression nice local area. 2nd impression nothing like the pictures show like 3years ago. Looks downgraded or new owner. 3rd, beverages there are lots of fuzz in the lounge flying around, my water had lots fuzz floating in it(as I watch the waitress cleans it with a blue microfiber towel) thought it’s from the ceiling fan blowing dust around the lounge area. Then I asked for a cup of coffee. Coffee stains but unlike this mug I was about to drink out of it but I didn’t, it’s so stained or they didn’t rinse and wash the mug I could rub the stain so it was a dirty mug. Food 8⁄10 it has taste, good portion, the huevos a la Mexicana was kinda spicy no warnings! I can the handle the peppers etc but if was spicy there were like 4 sarranos chopped up couldn’t eat the portion of the food and left like 20 pieces of the pepper on the plate Service 8⁄10 –2 for the 1 waitress for a crowd of tables. Other guy just serve the food out. Interior 6⁄10 not expected on groupon or Unilocal old old pics from 3years back til now Exterior patio 8⁄10 nice day to sit out enjoy the view. Seating are stainless steel as shown as before but it’s Portland For their service and food and my experience 6⁄10 rating which I had 2.5stars

Tried this place out because there was a groupon and the food wasn’t bad but didn’t stand out. It was average. Not a bad place to pick up lunch but nothing to come back to. The view is the most amazing thing about this place. It’s located in the lad Columbia facility right off of the St. John’s Bridge and has a great view of it with Forest Park behind it. The interior needs a big face lift. Everything looks and reminds me of a cafeteria. Simple and plain, and a bit dated.

This was our third meal here. Every plate has been fantastic; visually, their flavor combinations and preparation has been consistently great. Their bold and creative flavors are really nice and unique for St. Johns. Great blend of Latin and American. The chef does nightly specials that I’ve thought about for days afterwards. Seriously give them a try. The view of the St Johns bridge is the best in town.

This is a tough one. On one hand they are nice people and the food is good(when they actually have what you want to order), but the main thing is the lack of dependability. There have been countless times when I have tried to eat here during their listed hours only to find the door closed and locked, the lights off, and no one inside. The extremely large plastic sign will still read OPEN but the neon open sign will be off. Or the opposite when they are actually open. They also seem to get easily overwhelmed if there are more than just a few customers at one time as mentioned in other reviews. There have been times where the barstools have been taken into the back room so that customers couldn’t have a seat there. Bar seats are the easiest to serve! I just can’t afford to go out of my way for lunch and find the place not open when it is supposed to be. Occidental Brewing doesn’t serve food or there would be a backup option. On to the food: most things I’ve tried here are tasty, albeit in small portions. The menu is frequently changing but not necessarily with any rhyme or reason like seasonal selections. I see my favorites come and go. Anyway, give the place a try if you want but I would definitely call ahead to make sure they are actually on site and ready.

I found this location from Groupon. I am an out-of-towner who likes to look for good food. I usually cross reference and read between the lines of good and bad reviews from urbanspoon and Unilocal and make my choice to try it out. If I like it great, it gets a review and if I don’t it gets a review and I just don’t go back. Now on to the review. I get that even if a restaurant may make spectacular food, there’s always going to be something on the menu that people don’t like. It doesn’t matter what it is. But hey maybe you other folks so clue in to maybe give the place a few tries before knocking it completely. I get there are at times bad service here and there. I’m not here to write about that. Now there’s also people like Dick G below, who just wrote a review based on weight of forks? Can a review be so pretentious? Apparently so. First of all writing a review about how the forks are small, light and may have well been plastic is ridiculous. What does this have to do about the quality of food? The omelettes were made of the smallest of eggs? What really? This isn’t a Denny’s or IHOP where you get ridiculous sized portions. The food here is amazing. The food is of good quality. Yes the indoor décor isn’t as fancy as the other places. But you’re going to be coming here for the food. It’s a hole in the wall with a great view. We ordered the eggs benny which was delicious. I’ve never had it this way that they serve it and it’s different yet very flavorful. Also ordered the turkey bacon avocado sandwich and that was amazing. The freshly squeezed orange juice is top notch as well. Yes I was a little confused about the Cathedral Park Kitchen sign at the front but at the top it says CP Restaurant. It’s not too hard to figure out at the end if you are at the right place. That’s what the GPS is for right? 5 Stars for the food. Who cares about the forks and décor. Aren’t you people here for the food?

Amazeballs! So good. I was completely impressed by the food, loved the music and we had a view of the bridge and the prices are so reasonable! I have two décor recc’s in case they read it: — continue the dark wall paint. I love the cozy warm entry with the bright windows and the warm lighting. But half way through it feels open and in inviting. I’ve walked in 3 times before and not stayed because of this empty feeling. — put up some separation in the back half… a wooden partition of some kind. Will be back
