Small little area… Poker machines, bar tall tables and a regular one. Meals take awhile. $ 5 french dip with a side; though took far longer than expected for the clientele in the building. Busy in and out at 7 ish PM. VERY nice lady bartender. Food was ok. Not what I’d come back for. Dog laying in the lap of a lady poker machine player… Not ok imo. Dog and lady were well– behaved but not what I find as ok dinner and drink companions.

Really a good burger in Tigard. Clean and friendly place. I come in 3 or 4 times a year and it’s always good.

Stopped in on the way home from the airport, had a great hamburger and a pair of awesome tacos. This had to be one of the best values I have found In a long time. Fast, friendly and very attentive service. Maybe this is the perfect quick stop burger fill up. Definitely be making this a regular go to on my way to Portland. By the way Tuesdays is taco Tuesday, $.75 tacos all day, did I mention the tacos were amazing.

We wanted to find a spot with cheap drinks, so we Unilocaled and found this hidden gem in Tigard. We visited on a Saturday night a little after 10:20pm and to our surprise, it wasn’t packed which was nice! Long Islands were $ 7.50 each and shots of Jose were $ 5. You really can’t beat that. People inside at the bar(other customers) were friendly and Missy who was working the bar was super friendly! She made us feel at home in a sense and checked on us frequently as we sat at a high table in the back. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the awesome service Missy.

Taco Tuesdays are the best at this place, they make the best tacos and they’re only a dollar. I’ve always had great service!

I will say I like this DIVE. There is nothing fancy or what have you. Its simple and a great place neat my boy boyfriends work to meet up to watch the game after he gets off work.

I think I used to refer to this as Carmichael’s Watering Hole? This small, old school, home town BAR is located right the side of 99W near a pawn shop and some small insurance office, if I recall. They make a big fat juicy burger, if I remember right. There some nice regulars who hang here, I think. The bartender lady is a real GEM — big hearted, friendly and generous in dispensing ‘water’ — if you know what I’m saying y’all. This is the place to go when you don’t want to recall the small details of life. Tremendous drinks… mellow company, easy location. I don’t get by much since I quit smoking(& drinking during the workday). But if that’s what you’re in the mood for, this is a perfectly low key solution.

Bar the size of a crackerbox, Divey, Locals, They useto, I don’t know if it’s still there, a fly strip hanging from the ceiling! Ha. Cheap suds, food’s good-I hear. I always know someone in ‘ere, one it’ll be one of my dad’s mates who gives me a big hug, tells me I’m beautiful and asks if I’m married yet. One of the Tigard Pubs with actual character. Loud & Bikers. Poker Night-Wedsnesday. Sometimes they do chili cook-offs and such.

Overall it is what it is a Pub and Grill. If your looking for quiet, candlelight, and Kenny G you’ll probably shun your nose. On average its like every other pub in that it has its regulars. Most hardworking guys stopping in after work. Its a small place and people can feel overwhelmed because convesations can(and do) go across the room. A place where you can make friends instead of aquaintances. They offer great daily specials as well as great drinks. If you dont like it… great Ill be happy to take your seat.

Small local place, right on Highway 99. The exterior is not very impressive and the interior is not at a all upscale: the woodwork behind the bar looks like it was done in the owner’s garage and one wall is dominated by video poker machines. There are also a few strategically located big-screen TVs so you can catch a game along with your drink. They have posters advertising $ 2PBR and $ 2 Rolling Rock all day. But they also have a poster advertising $ 3.50 for Ninkasi Total Domination IPA, so I ordered one of those. The place wasn’t completely packed, but it was about half full at 5:00 when I wandered in. There seemed to be a lot of regulars who knew each other, mostly in the 50+ age group. The bartender was cheerful, efficient and got me a beer and menu pretty quickly. Carmichael’s claims to have Tigard’s best burgers, and given the dive-bar vibe I was thinking«Yeah, whatever» but I went ahead and ordered a burger anyway. The cook came out after a few minutes to drop off ketchup and mustard; and to tell me that my burger would be out a couple of minutes. It arrived as promised, and looked pretty good. But it was FABULOUS. Big, juicy 1⁄3 pound burger grilled just right and served on a substantial bun. The fries were just as good. Crispy outside and they tasted like fry oil had been changed just about five minutes before I arrived. As a beer geek I wish they had a few more notable tap handles, but the selection is serviceable. Looks like they can also hook you up with a decent(but not notable) selection of mixed drinks. The prices are great for what you get and really, what’s not to like about a slogan like«Sorry, we’re open.»
